The crosswalk was never plowed, forcing pedestrians into a state highway in order to cross this busy intersection. It also makes access to the bus stop there very challenging and dangerous.

This is a very large pothole with the asphalt chunk over on the side of the road. This appeared sometime in the last five days or so. It is on Fairfield just a few feet west of Ramsdell.

A tractor trailer is parked at this location as of 8:15 this morning. No cab/truck attached. It is my understanding that it is illegal to park trailers on city streets like this.

The crossing light at the c/o Dayton and Fountain (Northeast corner?) is turned facing the wrong direction. I tried to move it but couldn't. Please fix. Thanks.
  • 399 - 419 Fountain Street New Haven, Connecticut - Westville

This post is years overdue: This strip of multi-family homes leaves the toters on Fountain Street 24/7/365 for many years. What I don't understand is that they share a common driveway on West Prospect, so why wouldn't the toters be put out on W. Prospect and then brought back in after trash is picked up?

The only exception to these being left out indefinitely has been the last few days where 3 recycle toters are now blocking the sidewalk currently.

  • 2-14 Ramsdell Street New Haven, Connecticut - Amity
This bus shelter was never cleared of snow, forcing the bus riders to trudge through it while trying to get to the bus. Further, the bus lane wasn't plowed (which I understand is a result of poor design on behalf of State DOT). Please clear this area, thank you.

This heavily trafficked sidewalk in front of the Power gas station has not been cleared of snow. It's quite irresponsible of the business owner.

The bus stop, bus shelter, and dedicated bus lane were never cleared. Bus riders and pedestrians are forced into the snow at this busy intersection.
  • Whalley Ave. At Dwight Street New Haven, Connecticut - New Haven Police District 10
Some terribly untalented graffiti painter slapped some rather illegible scrawl in white spray paint on this otherwise-harmless bus shelter. It would be pleasant for that to be cleaned up in order to keep up appearances on that stretch of Whalley, especially with the new tenant coming in right at that corner.
  • C/O Seneca And Fowler Street New Haven, Connecticut - Amity
The stop sign at the bottom of Seneca Street, at Fowler, is repeatedly ignored. Cars flying through the stop sign endanger the pedestrians, families and other cars in this residential neighborhood. Please paint a white stripe at the stop sign in hopes that it will be a more visible cue for people to obey the law. Thank you.
  • C/O Howe Street & Mlk Blvd. New Haven, Connecticut - Dwight
The traffic signal facing the Howe St. side of traffic at this intersection is currently mis-timing (normally works fine). I've seen multiple cycles of green for the MLK side while Howe never changes (yet the walk signal is cued in correctly). Hence, I have seen a LOT of cars burning through the red out of frustration while oncoming traffic on MLK is still moving through. It's quite dangerous.
  • C/O Fairfield & Westerleigh Rd New Haven, Connecticut - Amity
The southeast corner of this intersection floods each time it rains. Assuming it's a backed up storm drain. This is compounded by the number of pot holes at this intersection which then get covered by the standing water, increasing the risk of tire damage. Please address.
