Orange St & Avon St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - East Rock
Street signs at NW corner of Avon and Orange Streets are so faded, you can barely read them while standing on the corner--forget about reading them while driving by!

120 Edwards St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Bishop-Hine

Sign is lying down on edge of sidewalk near curb.
  • 333 Humphrey St New Haven, Connecticut - Bishop-Hine
There is a handicap parking sign, uprooted and leaning upside down on the telephone pole between 333 and 325 Humphrey St. Perhaps this is the same one from issue #4357719?
  • 27 Bishop St New Haven, Connecticut - Bishop-Hine
Once upon a time, this was a piece of furniture left on the sidewalk. Now it's a pile of particle boards that's been an eyesore since mid-summer.
  • 26 Bishop St New Haven, Connecticut - Bishop-Hine
This pile of household trash and mattresses has been out on the curb for over a month--and isn't improving with age. The house seems to be for sale but someone must be responsible for cleaning it up?
  • 36 Nash Street New Haven, Connecticut - East Rock
This bureau has been sitting against the wall for over a month--a favorite dumping spot in the neighborhood.
  • 611 Orange St New Haven, Connecticut - Bishop-Hine
This pile of asphalt was left on the grass strip between the street and sidewalk when the street was repaved this past summer. Can public works (or their paving contractor) please clean it up?
  • Willow Street New Haven, Connecticut - East Rock
There are a couple of good potholes in the left turn lane for the I-91 entrance. This is as you drive southeast from intersection of Mitchell Dr. Hard to avoid the potholes because of the busy traffic in that section of road.

This bike rack was hit by a plow in the last storm and needs repair.

The notices inviting comment regarding proposed bus stop elimination on State Street are posted too high (over 6 ft!) and in type that is small and very hard to read. None of the riders waiting for the bus that I've spoken with have any idea that the stop is proposed to change. For anyone who cares to comment and doesn't want to get a step ladder to read the notice, the web address is http://bit.ly/2xC0WnK
