Dunncroft

Street range numbers for streets with the same name and different suffix should never overlap. However, there are overlaps in the Dunncroft subdivision(e.g. Tameo Ct. and Tameo Rd). Firetrucks and ambulances are navigated to incorrect addresses because of this, not to mention delivery drivers. Street numbers can be increased by 1000 to offset the ranges.

It's unbelievable to think that there is no crosswalk across Francistown Rd to Echo Lake Elementary School. It wouldn't be a big deal if drivers would stop to let pedestrians across but that doesn't happen. Which forces parents, with young children, to frogger across Francistown.

When leaving Dunncroft subdivision via N. Lakefront Dr., the view of the Westbound Hungary Rd. is obscured by vegetation making both left and right turns unsafe. These need to be cut back as in previous years.

Sec. 18-7. - Obstruction of vision at intersections.
It shall be unlawful to have a wall, fence, planting or structure obstruct vision within 20 feet of the
intersection of two street right-of-way lines, as measured at elevations greater than 30 inches above the curb
level or the centerline of the street grade. Where a desirable tree obstructs vision at the time of street
dedication, the tree shall be trimmed or removed to provide the sight distance required by the director.

This is a relatively new intersection, but I drive through it every day and number of pedestrians playing frogger to cross Staples Mill has steadily increased. And that's when I noticed there's no crosswalk of any kind. And this is at a train station where you would except pedestrians.

Chatted with the contractor who was clearing Dunncroft subdivision, but the contract is missing several streets that have the same name (e.g Tameo Rd vs Tameo Ct).

I think this explains why we only get plowed 1 out 4 storms for the past 10 years--I reckon 1 is accident because of the incomplete street list.
