  • 22 Pershing Drive Derby, Connecticut - Derby
A No Turn on Red sign is needed going northbound. One would think that this would be understood, given that the right turn is 50 yards past the light, but cars regularly drive through the red light to make the right turn into the plaza.
  • Beaver St Ansonia, CT - Ansonia
When one approaches this intersection from Tremont Street, it is not easy to navigate through because of cars coming up Beaver Street. There's no stop sign on Beaver, and cars frequently speed through this area. The corner of Beaver and Tremont is sharp, and the stop sign on Tremont is set back, so often one has to stop at the sign, start to drive into the intersection, and then stop again to avoid being hit by a car coming up Beaver. If a stop sign were placed on Beaver (at least for northbound traffic), this intersection would be a lot safer.
  • Main St Ansonia, CT - Ansonia
Southbound traffic on 115 has to stop well in front of the light at the Division Street intersection. This was so cars could get out of the Shell station at that corner. But the Shell station has been reconfigured, and there is no longer an exit at that spot. So there's no need to force cars to stop so far away from the intersection anymore.
