An overgrown Holly tree is now also covered in Kudzu - so much that it impedes and restricts the sight line to the left for vehicles pulling off of Stratton Hills Drive onto New Garden Road. There is supposed to be a 250' sight line from 20 feet back from the curb face, but vehicles have to almost pull all the way up to New Garden before they can see clearly to the left. What makes this worse is that the speed limit on New Garden is only 35 mph, but traffic consistently travels at 45 mph or more coming down the hill from the intersection with Brassfield … so it’s a dangerous situation as to how far you have to get close to New Garden to see to the left.

Can the Holly tree be removed?

There are huge pot holes just off the asphalt beside New Garden Road (when turning left off the ramp from Bryan Blvd onto New Garden Road). Most likely caused by large trucks making wide turns, they are very unsightly and could be dangerous if a car runs into them. The asphalt should be widened or at the least, some rock would fill in the holes.

The area right beside the curb on the right side of New Garden Road just before the exit ramp into Bryan Blvd. -- the grass has died and the trees need pine straw. The rest of the exit area looks good except here - can it be cultivated and re-seeded?

The are many dead shrubs in the median of Bryan Blvd. from just west of the Holden Road exit up to the end of the median at Northampton Drive. To be the major artery from the airport into the city, this is not the prettiest drive. The median shrubs need to be removed and replanted.

Since the road is built to freeway standards with limited access, can the speed limit on Bryan Blvd be increased to 60-65 mph ... at least from Westridge Rd to Regional Rd? Or is this a State DOT issue?

On Stratton Hills just as you turn off of New Garden, it appears that the roadbed is giving way, thus creating a bad dip in the road.

The sidewalk on the south/east side of New Garden Road between Stratton Hills and Brassfield stops before getting to Stratton Hills. This forces walkers and handicapped individuals to leave the sidewalk and walk on unlevel ground before getting to Stratton Hills. Please extend the sidewalk to Stratton Hills and install a wheelchair access to the sidewalk at Stratton Hills.
