I'm not sure what's going on with the trash collection these days, but this is the third time un five weeks that all of the trash in my can was not taken. I'm leaving the can on the curb so it can be fully emptied.

Once again a bag was removed from my regular trashcan and placed in the recycle bin. The bag placed in the bin is not recyclable. I have left the bag on the curb so it can be collected.

Is there a limit on how much trash can be collected at one time? This is the third collection day trash has been left in the can I set out. This time I had three bags in the supercan, two were collected and one was placed in the recycle can. The trash bag taken from the supercan and placed in the recycle can did not contain recyclable materials.

    Good morning,

Someone dumped a set of seats on the sidewalk here on Ridge Pl.

This is a follow up to my initial report on January 20th. The mattresses are still sitting on a vacant lot. I did not see an option to follow up on my initial post so this a new one. Thanks.

Good morning. I hate to pile on with snow requests but is there an ETA on when snow will be plowed on side streets? The streets have not been plowed on Ridge Pl. between 22nd and 24th streets. When the Federal government presumably reopens tomorrow it will be difficult if not impossible to make it to the main roads. We've done our part clearing the walkways.

Matresses were dumped at 24th and Ridge Pl. a couple of days ago.
  • 1720 22nd St Se Washington, District of Columbia - Anacostia
There is what appears to be an abandoned vehicle blocking the west side of the alley between S St. and Ridge Pl.
  • 501-599 K Street Northwest Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
It looks as though the truck os doing some type of work along the sidewalk. It is blocking over half of the entrance to a parking lot which appears to be unnecessary. Cars approaching the lot from the west have to attempt a dangerous back-in to the lot. If this was pre-planned it was poor planning.
  • Massachusetts Ave & 7th St Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
Everyday cars, trucks, and buses will block the crosswalk for those crossing over 7th St. Pedestrians have no choice but to walk in between the vehicles. Meanwhile, cars turning onto to 7th St. from Massachusetts Ave. turn in front of pedestrians that have the right of way. This is a dangerous situation for pedestrians because not only are vehicles agressively turning but the vehicles blocking the crosswalk also block the view of the cars turning onto to 7th St. so that they might not see pedestrians in the crosswalk.

There has been a power line down at 31st and Gainesville for 3 days now. Is there an ETA on when this will be fixed. the line is in the street and a one-way street is blocked off. I cannot drive to my house due to this.
  • 640 New York Ave Nw Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
Almost everyday at the intersection of 7th and Massachusetts NW cars are aggressive toward pedestrians crossing over 7th St.
  • 1000 7th St Nw Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
Many right turning cars fail to yield right-of-way to pedestrians in the crosswalk crossing 7th at K St in the Mount Vernon Square section of NW. I cannot count the near misses I've had with cars piggy-backing on SUV turning in front of me. I've seen near misses with others. It is a constant occurence. Cars on 7th St gridlocking the intersection make things worse. It's like a real-life game of Frogger on some days. can something be done before someone gets hit?
