The geese crossing sign was not installed by the city. a work order to remove it has been initiated. A crossing at Cherring and Peeler is currently being designed and will be incorporated into a future sidewalk and bicycle lane construction project.

It is true that the left arrow comes up at different times depending on the time of day. In the PM commute it is programmed to come up at the end of the cycle. We verified that the detection is working properly. When the left arrow is at the end of the cycle it is possible to arrive so late in the green cycle that you have to wait until the end of the next green cycle for the arrow.
