There's a tabby cat that's been run over on the street right before 25 Science Park. :(

While apartment hunting, drove by what looked like a black and white dog medium sized dog dumped on the side of the road in the snow with some purple blankets or something else covering him/her. Drove by again to verify, yes it is a dead dog. This was 20 minutes ago. It looked like a beautiful animal, from what my boyfriend and I could see.

Does anyone know if there is a straightforward way to contact a certified person from the city who will remove the bat from my apartment? I contacted my landlord this AM but have been told by the vet clinic (had to take the cat for a booster shot because of this) that I need to have an official come remove the bat to have it tested. i am really frustrated because I called the non-emergency number, animal control, and the CT DEP Wildlife Division. No one was there or willing to help and my landlord still hasn't arrived.
