    The new ped coundown timers at the corner of Clay and Liberty display nonsense. Here's a photo of it displaying a white go-man and you have 1 second to cross.

    (Actually, I can't remember which crossstreet on Clay this is. It's probably Liberty but it might be Jackson.)

    Scenic Loop Louisville/Jefferson County, KY 40205, USA - Cherokee Seneca

    By Kentucky law, bicyclists must obey all posted traffic signs. The traffic signs in Cherokee and Shawnee Scenic Loops currently PROHIBIT clockwise riding. At every park entrance there is a posted "One Way" sign, and shortly thereafter a "Do Not Enter" sign.

    It is not the intention of Parks to prohibit this use of the scenic loops. "Except Bicycle" signs need to be tacked on to allow bicyclists the right to travel clockwise on these loops.

    The scenic loops do not need "except pedestrians" or "except skaters" signs because those modes of transportation are not vehicles under KY traffic law, and they are not forced to obey "one way" or "do not enter" signs in the first place.

    The ~2'x1' Parks sign that declares the main entrance to the park and reads something like:

    1890-1931"

    has rotted through and is falling down. I rebalanced it on its sign post, but the plywood has turned to mush and it's got less than a year of life left.

    Potholes are the size of dinner plates. Longitunial cracks in the pavement are so deep and wide they're becoming a wheel-trap hazard on this heavily-travelled bicycle conduit.
