It's approaching Friday night again. At 5:20 pm we once again have cars driving over loudly clanking man-hole covers in front of or near Sunnyvale Volkswagen. Very funny. As I have reported before, it is done on Friday night so that the people around here have to listen to it at least all weekend. The City will not get to it until the following week. Very Funny
My guess is that the perpetrators are one or more lower ranking employees at Sunnyvale Volkswagen. (I don't have photo proof - but at this point - since we get plenty of car horn play, car alarms going off (sometimes repeatedly) and other mischievous noises after which there are sometimes heard chuckling employees behind the building. (Our residence is on the opposite side of the fence behind the Sunnyvale Volkswagen building).
The City of Sunnyvale has to pay someone to come out and fix the (unsafe for motorcycles) manhole covers - which costs money every time. The neighbors get to hear loud clanking all weekend. Very funny, don't you agree?

Someone, once again has set the manhole covers just west of Henderson and El Camino to rock when you drive over them (very unsafe for motorcycles) - so they clank loudly. Friday night is when he does it so that you can do nothing about it until the following week. The City of Sunnyvale should really make an effort to catch the mischievous perpetrator as it costs the City each time to come out and fix it. Upon inspection, you will see/hear the manhole covers which have been tampered with 1/2 to 1 block away from them. It is loud!
