Trash and Recycling Issues Archived253 Walnut St Holyoke, MA 01040, USA - Holyokehonorable mayor I don't understand why every household has to have one two three these huge containers that are most difficult for seniors to deal with people with properties like mine that have nowhere to store them and single people who have houses or small families that can't fill those things in a month why do we change things that work Holyoke as a whole is a beautiful city I loved the city ever since I moved to it I've never seen a mess on Homestead avenue which is one of the longest streets in Holyoke doing the trash the way we do it is there a plan to get rid of town employees and outsource trash if so will this be cheaper or cost to taxpayers more money I just think it should be rethought my house is a walk out I'm 78 years old just had my knee replaced and now I have to lug this barrel around my yard I just don't get it
