  • 400 Perkins St Oakland, CA, 94610, USA - Adams Point

This trash can has been overflowing for weeks. Because it's filled with dog poop bags, the smell is horrendous, and the overflow is both disgusting and dangerous to public health.

Please make sure that BOTH trash cans on the corners of Perkins St. @ Van Buren Ave. are emptied regularly. Any time a garbage truck passes them, they should be emptied. Last time they emptied just one, not both, and they were both overflowing. Your garbage workers need to be more thorough, and more consistent.

Serious, numerous huge deep potholes on Perkins Street, from Grand Ave. to Van Buren Ave. This entire block needs to be repaved. Major hazard to cars and cyclists.
  • 400 Perkins Street Oakland, California - Adams Point
The full length of Perkins Street, from Grand Avenue to Orange Street, needs to be repaved. This street is full of holes, and cracked and broken asphalt. It has been an ongoing problem for years. On the rare occasion that a pothole has been filled, it becomes problematic again in a very short amount of time, as the band-aid repairs just don't hold up to the heavy traffic on this street. Perkins is heavily used by cars, bicycles and pedestrians, all of whom are in danger because of the numerous potholes that damage cars, and can cause severe injury to bicyclists. I've even tripped and almost fallen in front of a moving car while trying to cross Perkins at Van Buren Ave. This street is a mess and needs immediate attention.
