Area marked for repair is insufficient. Water damage extends another 12-18" into roadway. Please reevaluate concern prior to beginning work. thank you.
  • 6914 Montgomery Rd Elkridge, MD 21075, USA - Elkridge
Milling on Montgomery Road is being done very poorly and is leaving unmilled sections in lane and on shoulder. please inspect and hold contractors responsible for doing a good job here, it's Friday I expect it will be like this until next week and will continue to avoid. thank you!

Suggestion for the light/intersection of Berger and Snowden. Would the county consider making an adjustment here so that the left turn lane on Berger is left/straight/right and the right turn lane is right only? Probably need to also add no turn on red for both of them. Most traffic turns right onto Snowden and I think this would improve the backup on Berger a lot without impacting the left/straight vehicles. the no turn on red should be ok since the wait would be significantly less anyway and being honest that should already be no turn on red :) thanks for any consideration.

not to abuse the system but as a frequent complainer I wanted to publicly express my gratitude for milling down the water main work on Montgomery Road. Huge improvement this is quite passable now. Whether hoco did it or you got the contractor to, you have my thanks!

Speed limit sign has been knocked down
  • Oakland Mills Road Columbia, Maryland - Columbia
Traffic signal timing at Snowden and Oakland Mills is off since Friday 4/21. In the evening northbound Snowden is only getting a 30 second green light while southbound is getting the extended green + turn. This is opposite of how it was and is causing backups beyond Berger road. Please inspect and adjust as needed thanks!

Extremely low water pressure 6000 block Ducketts Lane. Assuming water main problem.

The patch jobs on Ducketts Lane near ducketts lane elementary are deteriorating already and at least one is opening up into a hole you cant see while traveling in the northwest direction towards Bauman Drive. Please fill/redo these patches, most look like they were done poorly. There is also still some heavy equipment folding in the asphalt from the construction that was never addressed between US1 and the school.
  • 6001 Niagara Drive Elkridge, Maryland - Elkridge
Water has been seeping up through Ducketts Lane near Niagara drive for a couple days now, appears to be getting worse and now enough to start puddling. Please investigate if our infamous water main has broken again. Water pressure seems lower than usual as well (@6079-6089 Ducketts). Thanks!

Private driveway seam/apron with Ducketts Lane is damaged from County projects since 2010. Current contractors working on Duckeys Run continue to use as turnaround for heavy equipment, school buses use as turnaround. Water main project in 2011 used as turnaround. School construction project in 2012/13 used as turnaround. Please consider affecting repair to apron area when current project is completed, this damage has been cause by repeated public use of private drive over the past few years and is deteriorating quickly now.

Montgomery Road westbound lane seems to be sinking after recent rainfall. This area was patched over a few years ago for a similar concern. Please investigate that roadway is stable and is not becoming a sinkhole.
  • 6035 Bauman Drive Elkridge, Maryland - Elkridge
County came through today and used their lawn mower with the arm raised in the air to "prune" the trees along Bauman Drive. They made an absolute mess of things, many trees down by Montgomery Road were decimated; is this an appropriate method to prune trees? With a lawn mower? Not sure why this was done, but would like to see somebody come by and mark/remove the trees that were ruined before winter and they start dying and falling down. Will try to get some photos tomorrow and will request explanation from the County as to why this haphazard method was used. I seriously doubt Columbia or Glenelg gets their trees trimmed with a lawn mower!

There was a couple water line repairs a couple months ago that were patched poorly. Even after it was apparently redone the areas concerned are terrible and need to be resurfaced properly. People slam on brakes and move across lanes to avoid this area.
