787 Prospect St New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
Cars travel down this stretch of Prospect at ridiculous speeds. Move the speed trap from the corner of East Rock and Whitney over here.
  • 333 Ogden St New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
The sidewalk on the north side of the street is completely overgrown with branches strewn about and litter on the ground. This stretch of sidewalk abuts an Albertus Magnus dormitory and should be cared for by the school. Instead of chopping down old trees, please send your landscaping mercenaries to clean this up so pedestrians can get through!
  • 226 E Rock Rd New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
Blew out my tire on this pothole. It is just past the crosswalk going down the hill.
  • 97 Cliff St New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
There is a storm drain on the corner of Cliff and Edgehill that appears to have just collapsed. There is a very large and extremely deep and perilous hole where it used to be (3 feet wide, 2 feet across, at least 6 feet deep). The city is at tremendous risk of a lawsuit if someone should injure themselves here.
  • 56 Beechwood Ln New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
There is a tree that is dangerously close to breaking a power line here. It really needs to have a branch removed by someone who has the equipment and skill to work near active power lines.
  • 133 Prospect St New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
The Yale transit buses never pull to the side of the street on Prospect when passengers are embarking or disembarking, even though there is ample room for them to do so. Cars then try to veer around the bus and play chicken with oncoming traffic. This is dangerous, and could easily be fixed by the buses obeying a simple traffic law (not to mention it would be nicer for the passengers!).
  • 208 Church St New Haven, CT 06510 - Downtown
The GA courthouse on the corner of Elm and Church has had unused scaffolding blighting its majestic exterior for several years without any work being done. Time for it to go!
  • 160 Grove St New Haven, CT 06511 - Downtown
Due to the Temple Street bridge closure, there has been an extreme increase on downtown-bound traffic on Prospect. Similarly, there has been a reduction in traffic going westbound on Grove. The intersection should have a longer green light for traffic headed south from Prospect onto College and a shorter green light on Grove in order to improve the flow of traffic.
  • 718 Prospect St New Haven, CT 06511 - Prospect Hill
This stretch of Prospect might as well be a dirt road. There is no line to drive without hitting a minimum of 6 potholes, and drivers swerve wildly to try avoiding (the unavoidable) pothole minefield.
