Other - City Issues Archived29 Albion St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of SalemIm not sure why the decision was made to change the North Street road pattern but I am really confused about the timing. Snow is about to arrive and the city installed new batons all over North Street. Plows are going to eat thise for lunch. Taxes in Salem are high. We should not be wasting tax payet dollars on silly projects!

Other - City Issues Archived16 Scotia St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of SalemI appreciate the difficult job the city has to remove snow after a large storm. However, Scotia street is a cul du sac and every time they come up the street they push the snow to the end and dump the snow for the whole street on top of the fire hydrant. Not a complaint, just a heads up.

16 Scotia St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of SalemThe city picked up Christmas trees before the Christmas season ended. My tree is up until January 6th every year and this has never been a problem. My tree is now laying in the circle.

Fallen City Tree or Limb Archived29-37 Grove Street Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salemlarge tree limb fell during Little League softball practice. This tree is old and rotted. This could be very dangerous during a game when lots of people are around. Tree is close to the third base dugout.

sign request Open16 Scotia Street Salem, Massachusetts - City of SalemThere should be a 'No Left Turn' sign at the end of Valley St heading into Highland Ave. It is often difficult to turn right onto Highland Ave. when a vehicle tries to make a left turn it is dangerous and ties up traffic. Vehicles wanting to make a left turn onto Highland Ave should use Cherry Hill Ave which is light controlled.

36 West Avenue Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
I was just at opening day for Little League. The O'Grady field at Forest River is embarrassing. Dandelions are covering the grass. This is supposedly the flagship field for Salem Little League. There are 20 billboards with sponsors lining the walls. None of them could donate some weed and feed? I don't expect it to be Fenway Park but with very little effort you could have a beautiful playing surface. If you can't get your sponsors to buy, I will go to Home Depot and get you a couple bags.
