    There is a lot of garbage in the partially fenced area, walking on Essex just south of the new Transbay Block 11A building.

    I first reported this March 2013. It was acknowledged, closed, and never removed!?

    I thought it would be removed when construction finished on the building, but it has not. This is a bad way to welcome new neighbors, and does not encourage a clean neighborhood.

    Please clean up this garbage!

    Concrete garbage can, too heavy to lift, was knocked over the weekend. I first saw it Saturday evening. Since then, someone has dumped a mattress.

    It's partially blocking the parking space.

    Walking on Essex just south of the new Transbay Block 11A building going up, and saw a lot of garbage, possibly a homeless encampment. It's through the fence and I didn't examine it. Regardless the garbage is bad.

    We need better enforcement for at intersections for commuters. Cars are not clear of intersections when the light changes, making it impossible to pass from the blocked direction. This causes even more congestion.

    In NYC, cars in intersections after the light changes are ticketed, regardless if they entered the intersection when the light was green. Enforcement of this policy in SF would send the right message, that good judgement should be used before entering an intersection.

    Please add street lights to this underpass. Many residents, including myself, walk from downtown and parts of SOMA along this underpass. There are open spaces, and vacant lots in this area along with frequent homeless camps. Other underpasses in SOMA are well lit, and this underpass should not be overlooked.

    Photo 1 shows the underpass in high traffic, so the cars are lighting an otherwise dark pedestrian walk.
