I just received the following notice:

"Water Main Repair Planned - Cross Street Between Ferry St. and Henry St. - Water main repair on Wednesday, 12/29/21 beginning at 7AM on Cross between Ferry and Henry. Repairs expected to be complete by end of day. When service returns, run a cold water faucet until water runs clear. Question - DPW at 781-397-7160"

Does this mean there will be no water available tomorrow from 7AM to 5PM? How far down Cross Street will this affect? Specifically, will it affect 69 Cross?

    Thanks.

Please plant a new tree to replace the one that was removed. Thank you.

Each year for the last few years the tree has had leaves on fewer and fewer branches. This year it's virtually bare. Please have it evaluated. Thanks.

Someone has once again dumped trash in front of our building (it's happened repeatedly in the last couple of months). This time it looks like they dumped all their living room furniture there. Could you please arrange to have it picked up? Is there any way you could figure out who's doing this? Thank you.

Several blue bags were put out with our trash barrels this morning, but were not picked up, and I have some questions: (1) Do all bags have to be in carts? (2) If yes, can we use barrels without wheels for overflow trash in blue bags? (3) Would it be possible to have today's blue bags picked up? Thanks.

Someone put a large black bag of trash next to our barrels. Second week in a row.

69 Cross Street still has not received its carts. Please arrange for them to be delivered. Please speak with Ron Cochran if you have any questions. He is familiar with the problem. Thank you.

Neither trash nor recycling picked up. Both usually gone by 10 AM.

Are we still allowed to put out things that won't fit in the cart, an old chair for instance?

Dark grey car parked on Cross Street at the corner of Cross & Tufts. Will interfere with plowing of both streets.

In the City's text/email/phone updates on the coming storm, please add a reminder of the legal responsibility of property owners to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks, and please fine those who do not comply. Thank you!

Blue trash bag in front of hair salon at 67 Cross. Don't know if it was missed or put out late. Please have picked up. Thanks.

Motorcycle (motorbike?) still habitually revving and speeding around our neighborhood for hours on end--weekdays beginning at about 3pm, ending around 1am; weekends beginning around 8:30 am, ending 2-3am. Passes by house every 10 minutes or so, ruining our peace by day, waking us up several times each night. I think this is the man whose license plate you were given last month. Please make this torture stop. Please feel free to call if you need more information. Thank you.

There was a request entered earlier today asking that the tree in front of this five-unit apartment building be cut down because the occasional dead limb falls in the yard after a storm. I urge the City not to grant that request, but to only remove the dead limbs that are on the tree and that happen to fall in the future. It is now rare to find a tree of that age in the City and it is therefore precious. Just because a landlord wants to lessen his yard upkeep burden does not justify making the City a bit uglier and a bit less shaded (and thus hotter) by removing such a lovely tree. In my experience, the City is very quick to remove downed limbs from City trees upon request, so the tree need be no burden to the landlord at all.

That image is entirely inappropriate and needs to be removed ASAP, and the person who approved its use needs to be reprimanded. Is the City now being run by a bunch of teenagers?

Please plant a replacement tree for the one that was taken down last year in front of 69 Cross Street. Thank you.

A pile of wood--looks like disassembled furniture--has been on the sidewalk for the last few days. Could someone please remove it. Thank you.
