just east of lahser, north of joy road and immediately north of the service road which runs from lahser to spinoza behind the dpw mowing yard, in between two vacant park buildings there are a number of abandoned trash barrels that used to be on the parking lot below but are now replaced by new black ones. there is also some kind of large rectangular tub made apparently of steel these have recently appeared here. there is some other debris which has been here a while. this is a bad look.

there is a low electrical or phone line across the park field east of lahser and just north of the horse corrals in rouge park. the line runs from the edge of lahser east to a pole in the dpw yard. at its lowest i think it can be reached by hand by a tall person.

Someone has dumped a large amount of trash at the rear of this city property, just outside the rear, southeast corner of my property, which is 9310 Trinity. I reported it two months ago. The trash is at the very rear of 9300. between the end of my fence and westfield street. Please remove. I am cutting the grass on 9300 and will purchase it when it becomes available. Thank you.

Majority of picnic tables gone from areas: joy and spinoza, west of spinoza across from orangelawn, and north of spinoza just west of the parking lot. i see that many were just removed without replacement, but this is the peak season! why? i live on trinity, am concerned as these areas are the most heavily used parts of the park.

i have an issue with the boulders surrounding part of rouge park south of chicago, between trinity and spinoza. they are ugly and serve no\ purpose. this is not a location where there is a lot of vehicles driving onto the grass; if that was the purpose then boulders would have been placed around the toboggan hill that rises between lahser and spinoza, this is torn up with tire tracks.the boulders are an eyesore; they spoil the restful view of the open stretches of grass. in addition, they will require a great deal of extra labor in the summer to cut the grass around them; where before i tractor could pull a large set of mowers through the area, now individuals will have to spend a lot of time with hand-operated cutters to clear the grass out. this is an ugly move, it solves nothing and will cost more labor. i notice that other parks across the city have the boulders, too. is detroit "coming back" with uglification? in addition, i have lived on trinity for 23 years and i do n ot know why this area of the park is being torn up by bulldozers. i am not happy about how things look. i bought my house here because of the park; now you seem to be desecrating it.

A chain link fence has been erected on the west side of the parking lot between the lot and the marsh. This obstructs the view at the only location where one can easily observe the wildlife on the marsh. I have been parking at this spot for years and now feel partly excluded from my view. And when the sun gets low, it reflects off the black paint on the chain and further obstructs the view. I am told that the purpose of the fence is to prevent the trash barrels from being washed away in floods, but that could be achieved without interfering with the view of parkgoers.
