    MASSDOT has to do something about the southbound expressway on 93 right before the bridge!!!! People are driving in the lane where there used to be a divider/median in between the HOB and regular lanes and not realizing there still is a median almost at the bridge and then causing seriously RISKY traffic. My husband and I were almost in a serious collision trying to navigate between the traffic

    Issue = litter. I've noticed a lot of litter and trash on and around East Broadway lately. This issue specifically is regarding the space right in front of Mt. Vernon restaurant which is covered in cigarette butts. Smokers frequently stand out in front and smoke and apparently feel like the city street is their own personal ash tray. Is this space the responsibility of the restaurant or the city to keep clean? Either way it is currently an eyesore.

    Incorrect use of lane. See attached photo. Heavy traffic at an intersection constantly reported with no long term fix implemented shows a driver using a right run lane to sit and wait for a left turn. This occurred at 9:40pm on a Saturday night. The heavy gridlock was from overflow coming off the 93 southbound ramp onto Lombardi.

    Because of the gridlock at Mt Vernon and East Broadway I just witnessed a driver travel in reverse all the way down Lincoln Ave to turn back to Lincoln St in order to navigate out of my neighborhood. This is after the driver got to the intersection of Lincoln Ave & Mt Vernon and saw the hold up at the light I continue to report. This gridlock is at the point where we need dedicated police presence to facilitate driver through the intersections at rush hour. The light situation can not handle current traffic load and drivers are currently making up their own rules ignoring traffic signs and creating risk (to other drivers and also pedestrians in this East Somerville neighborhood.

    Can we please get an update re: The light situation at Mt Vernon and Easr Broadway? Just walking back from Sullivan and noticing the traffic southbound backed up to Franklin B/C the green light is still TOO short for traffic in this direction. People are cutting through my neighborhood on Lincoln to get around the light. I'm going to attach the link to an old issue that was closed, #1221581

    The curb/sidewalk at Caldwell and Broadway is an icy/wet hole now. It is a very high traffic pedestrian route to Sullivan and 1) someone is going to get hurt and 2) no way could a handicapped person use the sidewalk there

    The sidewalk in front of Boloco and other shops on Charles St at Boylston is full of snow and hasn't been shoveled. It is slick and slippery and very dangerous for commuters walking to work. Doesn't Boston have a snow removal policy for businesses? Which business is responsible for that corner? Should be held accountable.

    19 Lincoln/20 George Street sidewalks have not had any shoveling since the blizzard. I saw Somerville recently extended the time but I'm concerned this snow isn't going to be touched. You can see in the picture attached someone took the time to nicely shovel the stairs and exit out of 20 George street but they haven't removed any of the snow on the sidewalk.

    The light southbound on Broadway at mount Vernon is not long enough these days. It only lets about 3 cars through when 10 cars are backed up. Light stays green for roughly 20 seconds. I honestly feel the green light needs to be 3 times longer. Traffic is getting heavier and will likely continue.

    I am reporting a tree and bush combination that is not cared for by owners/managers of 19 Lincoln street that blocks sidewalk passage for pedestrians. It is a nuisance and needs to be cited and removed. If the city cannot trim it the owners need to be held responsible to do so.
