Landscapping debris mixed with garbage dumped in the Strong School parking lot.

An driver with no liscense or insurance crashed into a street sign, knocking it down. As it indicates that East Pearl is a one way street, you should really replace it. Also, it is on the sidewalk in front of my house, which is a potential danger.

Since I am writing, it is time to come and mow the grass around the Strong School parking lot, before it once again gets completely out of control.

I thought when the sanitation came last week to clean the street, they might do something with the sign, or at least pass the information along to the appropriate party, but that did not happen. I guess it is safe to assume there is no interdepartmental communication going on in the New Haven government.

I recently reported the issue of illegal dumping, garbage and serious lawn care needed at the Strong School parking lot. You evidently mentioned this to many agencies but nothing has happened. Has the City decided not to deal with these problems in Fair Haven? If that is the case I do not need to be wasting my time informing "you" about them.

Strong School parking lot lawnsare in bad need of mowing and garbage removal. I do pick up trash from one section but it is becoming too diificult due to the overgrown conditions. If the city choses to neglect this area, give me a lawn mower and I will cut it myself. Also I could use a biohazard container of some kind given what I clean up: drug remnents, needles, medical waste, human waste, used condoms etc. You get the idea.

The parking lot on Grand & E. Pearl is totally out of control looking like a major dump site. Please send people and a truck to clean up this mess as it looks disgusting and is a health hazard. One wonders who these people are that are really dumping on their neighbors and their neighborhood.

Thank you City of New Haven for sending a crew to mow the lawns & clean up the mess at Strong School parking lot. It looks so much better. I always hope the clean example will inspire people
to be more considerate. Think about instituting preventative measures and scheduling regular maintenance.

As I understand things, the parking lot, as part of The Strong School, is owned by the City. The City does not seem interested in either following up on development proposals for the school/lot or regularly maintaing it in the meantime. Unfortunately the people that park there dump a lot of garbage. Perhaps someone in the City government could look at the larger picture in this case and assign an agency with appropriate resources to deal with this. It would also be nice if the City moved on The Strong School proposal. Grand Avenue has been designated as a vital area for futher develop has it not.

Some trash recepticles aound the parking area might be a good idea.

There are still a lot of larger items dumped in the lot. It would require a truck and people that can do some heavy lifting to remove them. Someone please do this.

The people that use the parking lot litter in the worst way. Besides that, which no one cleans up at all besides some local neighbors, the City has stopped maintaining the lawn border areas which are out of control. Also one section is being used as a dump - garbage, old TVs, broken cabinets, old bedding, auto parts etc. Please do something about this situation.
