Private dumpster for several High Street apartments on public property (High Street Court and Pratt Street). When it's not here, it is placed on Lifebridge property. Ongoing health issue. Attractive to rodents. Never resolves.

Trash on High Street Court and also dumped onto Lifebridge property.

Overflowing, uncovered private dumpster on a public street. Continuing problem. Never gets resolved with the property owner.
  • 12 Pratt St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem
High Street Playground. Young basketball players constantly leaving behind their trash. Neighbors are tired of picking up after them. We need litter signage, fines and police patrols. There are 2 trash barrels at both ends of the park. Ineffective. Barrels at the basketball court might help.
  • 14 Pratt St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem
Trash barrel removed from High Street Playground. It was located along the border fence between the basketball court and the Pratt Street Parking Lot. As a result, trash is being left in the lot and on the Playground. Those of us who live here have been picking it up. $300 littering fine posted. Needs to be enforced.

One flex post damaged and others are missing at the intersection of Endicott and Margin Streets.
  • 29 Endicott St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem
City workers recently removed sewer cover to check inside (middle of street between 29 & 35 Endicott). After they finished, the cover was not closed tightly. As a result, it's causing a loud, annoying clanking sound every time a vehicle goes over it. Please come back and set the cover correctly. Thank you.

Yard waste not collected on Pratt Street (again).
  • 32 Endicott St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem
Clearly marked yard waste barrel not collected on Pratt Street, near the Endicott intersection. ALL collections for 32 Endicott are placed in the same spot (near our back gate on lower Pratt Street). This has been the case for at least the past 30 years. Only mentioning this because a phone call to the City about this seemed to suggest that WE are at fault. We are not. We were missed. The rest of Pratt Street was collected. Thanks.
  • 9 High St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem
Sinkhole in the street, near the sidewalk between 7-9 High Street. Gets a little bigger each day and will become more dangerous...
  • 32 Endicott St Salem, MA 01970, USA - City of Salem

After being opened recently, the manhole cover closest to the catch basin at 32 Endicott Street is loose and making a racket every time a vehicle goes over it.

This is happening at a few locations throughout our neighborhood and beyond.

  • Pratt Street @ Corner Of Endicott Street Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
Small, but fairly deep sinkhole, cracked sidewalk and detached sign post on Pratt Street, at corner of Endicott. The new Pratt Street/STOP sign post is loose and in danger of falling due to a sinkhole that has opened up around it. The post is not attached to anything and is only standing by leaning against the concrete. An adjacent section of sidewalk has also cracked. Both sections may collapse and enlarge the sinkhole. Potentially hazardous to pedestrians, property and vehicles.
  • 32 Endicott Street Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
Pratt Street one-way sign at the Pratt/Endicott intersection is falling off a crooked post and not clearly visible to drivers. As a result, many vehicles are going up Pratt Street the wrong way. Post, as well as the sign, needs maintenance. Thank you.
