Our alley is close to impassable. A couch, table, 5 gallon buckets, bags of trash, mattresses and now an accumulation of improperly disposed brush left by unscrupulous lawn companies line the margin behind every home. It's ridiculous. The worst I've ever seen. It makes me wonder if anyone else even reports items for pick up or merely waits for me to do it. Please send a truck and some strong people to clear this area before someone ends up hurt. This junk is going to cause a car wreck or worse.

Blue couch and two heavy black leather seats have been dumped and are partially blocking the alley. Dangerous. Nearly invisible at night. Please pick up asap.

old fencing blown down by the hurricane is stacked next to dumpster in alley and needs pick up, please. According to city diagrams and the way there is no right of way between the sidewalk and the road at the front of the properties on our block, at the edge of the back alley was the best option until disposal. thank you.

The alley is T shaped and the uneven surface is making it difficult to access homes and turn using regular, non-four wheel drive vehicles.

Yard waste and tire on alley behind address as well as a dresser and other household trash at end of alley where the alley makes a T. Presents a hazard to cars.

Wooden bed frame left by multifamily garbage can in alley along with a tree limb.
  • 1752 28th St S Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
Someone broke the lid on our oversized multifamily alley garbage can, overfilled the can and left a small appliance, a big tree limb, and broken wooden bed frame next to it. We were able to see this was done not by a neighbor, but by strangers to our street, but were unable to catch a license plate before they drove away in their truck. This is getting ridiculous. Two houses down there is still a pile of wooden fencing material back there, even though our alley was cleared last week. Leaving troubled areas encourages those dumping to return. My daughter has picked up twenty plastic bags of small items from the alley and from our block, but there is always more when she goes outside to look. We care about our neighborhood and want it kept clean. Please, fix all the large can lids so the wind and animals (rats, cats, possums, raccoons) will stop scattering trash every night and get rid of the loose garbage piles. Thanks.

The alley behind my home is being used as a dumping ground at all hours of the day and night. We have mosquito problems from standing water in plastic bins and stray dogs and cats are sleeping in the debris. This is not garbage put out by residents, but trash left by strangers who don't even use the cans when they are empty. Furniture, mattresses, boards covered in nails, seemingly whole households of broken and discarded items. People drive up in trucks and just leave stuff here. It's bad. Please fix this.

Because of our alley being a "T" and its close proximity to the main thoroughfare of 28th ST, it has become an illegal dumping ground for all manner of trash including yardwaste dropped off by the truckload and furniture, mattressses, bins, toys, household goods, etc not from our residents but from people not wanting to spend the time or money on a trip to the dump. The longer the waste collects, the more it encourages continued, escalating and hazardous conditions. Please help!
