This might be the most historically important structure in our neighborhood: an Eastlake design that is increasingly rare, especially in New Haven. I think this is also the house that Robert Moses grew up in. Regardless, the owner has let the front and side of the property fall into disrepair. Would be great to see at least some maintenance outside.

This property—a potentially gorgeous part of the Dwight Street National Register Historic District—hasn’t seen any maintenance in more than a year. Has anyone contacted the owner? It’s such a shame.

The area around this house has become somewhat overgrown, though it otherwise seems well maintained. I have two dogs of my own, and feel bad that the dog dad or mom here neglects this gorgeous pup. The barking whenever anyone walks by is plaintive. Please, someone: make sure this pup is better cared for.
