    "ANDALUCIAN authorities have come under a deluge of criticism after thousands of homes and businesses were destroyed by freak floods.

    "Opposition parties have slammed the “ridiculous” response from the Junta after many areas received their annual rainfall in just three weeks.

    “Flood victims had to endure Christmas, New Year and the Epiphany until the Junta finally stirred,” said Partido Popular leader Javier Arenas.

    “Meanwhile its bosses took summer-holiday length breaks.”

    For 10+ years, a broken sewer works in the city of Ronda Spain has spilled raw sewage into the Guadalevin river in Ronda, Spain.

    The open sewer mains have killed fish and affected the water supply of several neighboring villages downstream from Ronda. An EU-supported sewer works recently came on line in Ronda in 2007, but the local government has still not repaired or re-directed the open sewer mains that continue to drain raw sewage into the Guadalevin River.

    A construction sink hole threatens the foundation of several nearby homes in the La Ciudad neighborhood and the quality of life of several neighborhood
    residents.

    The sink hole is more than 10 years old and is the result of a dispute between Ronda city officials and the owners of the Casa Del Ray Moro has delayed construction of five-star hotel in La Cuidad neighborhood of Ronda, Spain.

    The dispute has left an ugly eye-sore, an open construction pit in Old Town Ronda, a national heritage site in Spain. Several construction barriers now have graffiti on the walls.

    There are several pot holes on the primary bridge in Ronda, Spain. The Puente Nuevo bridge spans the El Tajo Gorge, connecting the old town of Ronda with the new part of this 40,000 person city. The bridge pavement is made up of worn cobblestones and several cobblestones are missing or need repairs, impeding cars and other types of travel.
