Marian Ave & Glen Leven Rd Ann Arbor, MI, 48103, USA - Ann Arbor
At the corner of Glen Leven and Marian Ave. there is no stop sign. That causes a safety issue as cars sometimes speed down Marian and on to Glen Leven without regard for bikers, walkers and drivers traveling up and down Glen Leven. It would be smart to install a stop sign at the corner to make it safer. A yield sign would be appreciated if a stop sign is not possible.

Woodland Dr & W Stadium Blvd Ann Arbor, MI, 48103, USA - Ann Arbor

This issue was originally reported in January 2015. It was also reported to Jack Eaton on city council. The city said they would take steps to fix the issue, but nothing has been fixed. The stretch of road on Stadium between Pauline and Seventh St. is very unsafe for residents on Woodland Dr. Residents of that street have a hard time turning left onto Stadium and turning left from Stadium to our street. In fact, there is a double yellow line out front so it is probably illegal for us to even turn left as we travel west on Stadium and turn left onto Woodland. Residents need to have an accessible street that is safe to travel in and out of. Further, the traffic during rush hour and when school is in session is heavy. People block the street so cars cannot get in and out. Ever since they created the bike lanes and limited lanes on Stadium, we have had issues. We have communicated those issues for the last 5 years and no one has done anything to help. Please look into a change that will help the residents of Woodland Dr.
My suggested lane change could be:
    * Westbound Stadium at intersection of Stadium and Seventh Street should have a left turn lane, straight lane and right only lane.
    * After the intersection, there should only be three lanes (Eastbound, center lane, Westbound.
    * Erase the street markings for left turn onto Franklin so that Woodland residents can safely turn left too (just a normal center turn lane)!

Please make this safer for Woodland residents, help traffic flow better and fix the current issues. Thank you!

  • 5445 Hampshire Ln Ypsilanti, MI, 48197, USA - Washtenaw County
On Michigan Ave between Platt & Carpenter road, there are several potholes. What is worse, is the on-ramp from Michigan Ave heading north on US 23. That stretch of US 23 from the Mich Ave ramp to the I-94 westbound interchange is filled with potholes as well. Please address this. Thank you!
  • S Industrial Hwy Ann Arbor, MI 48104, Ann Arbor, MI - Ann Arbor
Heading south on Industrial Hwy right before the Ann Arbor PTO shop, there is a sizable and deep pothole. This needs to be repaired soon as it can cause serious damage to cars.
  • Woodland Dr. Ann Arbor, Michigan - Scio Township

Something needs to be done about the stretch of Stadium between Pauline and Seventh St. It's very unsafe for residents on Woodland Dr., especially when trying to make a left hand turn to get home. A suggestion could be:
    * Westbound Stadium at intersection of Stadium and Seventh Street should have a left turn lane, straight lane and right only lane.
    * After the intersection, there should only be three lanes (Eastbound, center lane, Westbound.
    * Erase the street markings for left turn onto Franklin so that Woodland residents can safely turn left too (just a normal center turn lane)!!!!!!!!

Please make this safer for Woodland residents, help traffic flow better and fix the current issues. Thank you!

  • 1500 Woodland Dr. Ann Arbor, Michigan - Ann Arbor
I live on a residential street off of Stadium Blvd. where the street merges into one lane in front of Franklin Blvd & Woodland Dr. For years, this road diet was put in place a few years ago, and for the past few years, it has caused traffic congestion, difficulty for pedestrians to cross Stadium, accidents have occurred several times where traffic merges. It is also extremely time consuming and difficult for Woodland Dr. residents to turn right onto Stadium. Given the sidewalks on both sides of the road, it makes sense to repaint Stadium to create 4 lanes as it used to be, rather than the 2 that are unsafe. If the city adds a cross walk, that will only add to the congestion and potential for accidents. It was much easier to cross the street as a pedestrian when the street was 4 lanes since traffic flowed nicely. Please do something about this issue!
