There are rocks and debris on Bromley Ave washed down from the hillside above LaShell st.

It also looks like runoff has under cut Bromley Ave about 50-100ft from the intersection of LaShell and a small part of the road bed has broken off. This should probably be filled back in before the next storm makes it worse.

Over the last couple of years, the lack of a curb or drainage on the East/North side of La Shell St would result in rain run off cutting a ditch on that side of the road, that would sometimes undercut the road. Each time that happened the road would not have sufficient support and would crack. This was reported to the city twice, and crews would show up and just fill in the ditch. These crews however never fixed the underlying problem, handling the rain run off (so it keeps happening) nor did they fix the damage to the road.

EVMWD is currently doing water pipeline work with heavy equipment. The equipment has taken the previously damaged road and made it a LOT worse in some sections.

Please repair the road and if possible provide some way for rain run off coming down the hill from Pennell to drain into the empty field to the east, or add a curb on that side of the road to prevent under cutting. Be aware, adding a curb instead of drainage to the field, will likely increase the flooding experienced by the homes on Bromley -- which already get some flooding during bad storms from eater coming off the hillside

Rain is undercutting the road bed again. Most of the gravel that was used to fill the water cut before has been washed down hill. About 100ft of road is showing spider cracks due to road bed erosion on the east side of road. Might be a good idea to drain water off road at fire hydrant or add a curb on east side of street to keep water on road. When gravel was added last time, a dirt berm was created in the side of the road which just ends up channeling the water along side the road making it so that it cuts a new ditch faster.
