The pictured tree is located on the city side of my boundary line. It has been slowly dying of the last few years and is now about 50% dead. Due to the direction it is leaning, when it does fall it will most likely damage the fire hydrant and cut off valve/water line located at the base of the tree. It will also most likely block the road which is a dead end street. Residents living east of the tree will be blocked from travel. I would like for the city to investigate and possibly remove the tree before it falls and causes a more costly and possibly dangerous situation. Thank you.

There is a low hanging (electrical, maybe low voltage) line along the north west end of Cooper Street on Monte Sano mountain. Not sure what the line is or if it creates a safety hazard but it does need to be inspected/re-installed. This is probably a result of the recent tornado that went through this area of Monte Sano.

There are two vacant lots on the east side of Cooper Street with multiple downed trees from the tornado a few months back. This property is located on the east side of the Cooper Street between Nolen and Lookout Dr. and are owned by the same person who is unknown but believed to reside out-of-state. Can the City of Huntsville request the landowner to have the downed trees removed?

The northwest corner located at the culvert in the curve of Cooper and Lookout has extreme vegetation, silt and debris that prohibits the natural water run-off. Years of sediment build-up has caused water flowing through the culvert to stagnate in a large pool. A short section of the natural drainage on the west side of the road needs to be re-opened to assist in water run-off and and avoid breeding grounds for mosquito's which could result in a health hazard. Thank you.

Several months ago I requested the clean-out of the under-road culvert and removal of vegetation located at the curve of Cooper St. and Lookout Drive, HSV, 35801. The request was made in order to allow the beginning of construction of my new home located at 3700 Lookout Dr. The request was for the culvert to be cleaned and whatever else was necessary for the water to properly drain off the mountain as it use to do in the past. After several months, the culvert was cleaned and the ClickFix request was closed. The vegetation on the outlet side of the culvert has not been addressed therefor the water drainage problem still exists. I would greatly appreciate some attention to this request in order to begin construction on my property located at 3700 Lookout. I appreciated the culvert cleaning but the problem remains and the solution for proper water drainage is very obvious. The attached image shows water back-up after just one day of our recent July rain. Thank you for your attention to this.

The under road culvert at the corner of Cooper Street and Lookout Dr. (Monte Sano) is clogged and causing water back-up. I am in process of clearing my property at the corner of Cooper and Lookout for home construction. I filed a request to have this culvert cleared a couple of months ago and received confirmation that it would be done but so far it has not. Is there something else that I need to do for this request? Thanks so much. Bob Heinisch

The under road culvert pipe located at the curve of Cooper St. and Lookout Dr. requires some maintenance. This culvert, especially on the north side of the road has not been cleared in many years causing water/drainage on the road and on the adjoining property located on the south side of the road. In addition to the clogged culvert some vegitation overgrowth on the south side of the road may need to be cleared in order for the water to naturally drain off the edge of the mountain. Thank you very much.
