  • 3100 Montrose Avenue Alexandria, Virginia - Potomac West
A section of sidewalk is missing on the NW side of Montrose Ave, just north of E Glebe Rd., for about 30 feet. Pedestrians are forced to cross Montrose (with no crosswalk, if they are traveling Southbound) or walk in the street. Because of the crosswalk configuration pedestrians must cross Montrose again in order to cross Glebe. This is clearly because of the utility pole and signs creating an obstruction, but it creates safety and ADA access issues. Ideally the utilities would be buried, but at least the pole should be moved or a more clear and safe route should be presented.
