    Hello due to homeless people living along the river bank, trash and grabage bags are getting stacked up at the old ferry crossing right before the railroad tracks on Hobbs Island road. I have picked up all the trash and put in a dumpster once because I try to keep the trash on the sides of the road picked up but the moment I am fighting a losing battle with the homeless. I picked up the pile of bags last Saturday by Monday evening there was more trash and pallets piled up in the same area something needs to be done because the animals are tearing into the trash bags, scattering it and making a huge mess, the homeless won't quit putting their trash out beside the ferry launch where there is no trash pick up! And this is not acceptable for those of us that like to keep the roadways clean and neat I cannot stand a nasty mess, that could be a health consern, that is why I take my personal time and drive up and down the side of Hobbs Island road on a four wheeler and pick up all the trash off the sides of the road several times a year.. not sure what can be done but please assist in whatever possible way you can, maybe putting a trash container out for them or moving them away from that area thank you for your assistance sincerely Melody.

    How come we don't utilize our jails and have inmates for road crew trash pickup?? Hobbs island and ditto marina way have an extreme amount of trash thrown on road side, and it ends up in waterways

    Someone cut under the road and patched it, but with all the dump trucks and traffic it is rutted out again and when you hit it your auto gets jerked sideways, very dangerous, not to mention what it is doing for shocks and wheel weights, it is right at the old Ditto entrance

    Hello, I ride horses at the land trust, and I don't want a few bad folks to ruin It for us, so if I may make a suggestion, this weekend I saw 4 people with horses up under the pavilion since they can't follow the rules and don't care, to stop this and not ban all of us good caring riders from using the trust, could you possibly put up a rail/barrier to keep horses out and let just folks be able to go under the pavilion, we love to ride there and don't won't to lose our privileges, thank you.

    Horse trails at Hays nature preserve.. 1st off the trails are gown up and weeds have took over, 2nd there are lots of large tress down that block the trails and it is boggy around them. AND last but most importantly the second bridge on the trails needs attention bad.. it needs to be concreted in at both ends! Like the 1st bridge was done...There is a large gap that a horse could break a leg in and most are scared of that gap..causing them to jump and try to back up on the bridge.. thanks for your assistance with these issues

    The sewage treatment plant will assault you nose with a stomach flopping smell of raw sewage! Treatment plant needs to burn off the methane gases.
