The snow removal company used by Chevrus Catholic School, Msg. Foley Hall pushed/dumped ALL of the snow from the parking lot across the street between the High School lot and CVS!! This huge mound of snow makes the sidewalk impassable and puts the public in danger since they illegally DUMPED snow instead of legally removing it. Photo of MHS sidewalk already shoveled depicts what the snow level looked like prior to the dumping. . . The vendor for Chevrus should be fined for illegally dumping snow and creating a hardship and safety issue for the public.

Snow has not been removed by Weir Funeral Home on the Auburn St sidewalk. They know the rules and try to get away with not complying until someone complains. Please give them the fine. They are horrible neighbors to their residential neighbors with parking issues, so the least they can do is have the sidewalks cleared! Also, please speak with them for whomever they contract for snow removal as they plow snow from parking lot into Auburn St! Safety is paramount for people traveling on foot, especially the children in the neighborhood.
    Thank You!!!!

    Hi-
I've lived on Auburn St for thirty years and have NEVER seen such a poor job of plowing. . . . Or if you can even call it plowing? Auburn St has NOT been done. . . You can't even turn from Salem onto Auburn St. My tenant who has 4 wheel drive SUV had to shovel the street because he got stuck. We've had much worse storms that a plow at least truly plows the street? Whoever this provider is this year should not be paid. . . It was so bad that the mail truck not a small car but a big truck got stuck three times on this street and private citizens had to shovel him out and finally push the truck with a private vehicle so the truck could move. The mailman was trying to do his job but had difficulty when others don't do theirs??? Again, never usually a problem for our street, but really?? Horrible. Do not pay this provider. Just my two cents. . . . Hate to see what happens when we get a really big storm? What if a firetruck or ambulance needs to get up the street? I really didn't want to break my neck walking down to take pictures. . . . Thank you DPW!! Please send someone ASAP. Thanks!

    Good Morning-
Trying to exit Page St turning right or left onto Mt. Vernon is very scary. Every morning I inch out and cross my fingers that noone is coming. The snow banks are so high that it is impossible to see oncoming traffic. Cars travel very fast at the end of Mt. Vernon St. I also would like to report that on the hillpart of Mt. Vernon that cars are parking on that Street. When they do this, only one car can travell in the lane. Are cars allowed to park on Mt. Vernon when it is so narrow? It is very dangerous! Thank you and have a nice day.
