The bridge sidewalk is really narrow, especially the last 100m at the south end which narrows to 1.5m wide and has a blind corner. I had a near miss with another cyclist that lost control coming down the bridge after passing me and injured her hand on the bridge railing. The sidewalk starts curving here an narrows down from 1.8m to 1.5m. The downhill speeds allows cyclists to easily reach speeds of 30-40 kph while entering this narrow section with reduced visibility. This section is very dangerous as a result. Can the sidewalk be widened here? Can the sidewalk be widened onto the roadway which has a shoulder at this point?

Sidewalk Trips Archived350 Gifford Street New Westminster, British Columbia - New Westminster
Cyclist tires can get stuck in the catch basin as mine did. Cyclists typically ride across crosswalks, especially on Multi-use trails. Cyclists are looking out for traffic and not looking at the road surface at this location. I have rode across this location many times on the trail and never noticed that catch basin and my tire got partially stuck in it at a low speed.
The grate is poorly located. Can a different grate be installed here? http://dandyhorsemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/great_good-new-grate-848x1024.jpg

Road Surface Issue Acknowledged8071-8175 140 Street Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyPothole in the centre of the bike lane northbound on the concrete bridge over Bear Creek. Could cause serious injury to cyclists if it grows in size as cyclists are typically going quite fast as the location is at the lowest point after a very long steep hill.

Traffic Signals Problem Acknowledged7635 King George Highway Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyPedestrian signal for eastbound on north side of 76 Ave does not activate a signal
-
9944 120 Street Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyThe pathway needs to be swept. When I rode on it on Dec 24 it was covered in slippery leaves. This is a steep path and a cyclist going downhill could easily lock up the brakes and fall as a result

Potholes in bike lane and roadway Archived7533 135 Street Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyThere are 2 potholes here in the eastbound direction. The one in the bike lane has caught me 2x when I am riding at night. Please fix ASAP.

Request for Pedestrian Light Archived14191 108 Avenue Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyI have tried crossing at this location before and I was not alone when I tried crossing as there were other people trying to cross at this location. This street is very difficult to cross as there are 4 lanes and no median. There are bus stops on either side of the street. Drivers do not stop for pedestrians either. It is a dangerous intersection without any pedestrian controlled light.

7660 18th Street Burnaby, British Columbia - BurnabyThe pathway to the bridge is covered in cut vegetation after a crew comes to this area. The vegetation left on the trail contains blackberry thorns which can go into bike tires and cause flats. I had many of these in my lifetime.
Why is this pathway not swept or blown off with a leaf blower after the brush cutting. Do Burnaby crews now own this equipment? The work here is very sloppy. -
Sidewalk / Walkway Issue Archived9349-9407 140 Street Surrey, BC V3V 5Z4, Canada - SurreyDangerous crossing. Bushes need to be removed. I can not see vehicles approaching prior to crossing. Vehicles will not stop for pedestrians or cyclists if drivers can not see them. Remove shrubs!!!

Lag screws in bike lane Archived13415-13429 76 Avenue Surrey, British Columbia - SurreyA few pounds of lag screws were dumped in the bike lane at the bus stop on the north side (westbound). The entire street between 132 St and King George should be swept as the screws were seen spread along the corridor.
