    Tree has uprooted into Aldridge Creek and will cause major drainage problems when it lodges on a pipe crossing or bridge. located in Aldridge Creek on the west side just south of the 4 Mile Post Bridge.

    Picture taken from Aldridge Creek Greenway, just south of Hobbs road bridge, looking north. Under main bridge span is a very large limb broken from a Black Willow tree. It is large enough to creat major drainage problems should it hang up on a bridge piling or the railroad trestle on its way to the Tennessee River. It would be much easier to address the hazard at low water than later at high water levels.

    Actually on west side of Aldridge Creek Greenway. Newly planted Bald Cypress trees(2) are planted UNDER existing trees and have NO chance of survival. Older trees need cutting down or at least trimming back severely.

    Water meter reader puts cover back over the meter but it is not seated. This has occurred twice in the last two months. looks like he is in too much of a hurry. If the plants surrounding the meter are a problem, I can fix that. I have cut them back to what I thought was adequate, but it may not meet standards. Let me know the standard clearance needed. It should not be left open.

    On Aldridge Creek Greenway going south just before the railroad tresses, the Guard Rail on a tributary creek on the east side of the greenway has been pulled out of its mountings and is down in creek it crosses. It is a long drop to the ditch and needs to be replaced.

    The barriers are not far enough apart to accomodate a Terra Trike Rover, (34") You can't ride around them. Other greenway barriers are 42", 44", 47" wide. I can get on the greenway at Weatherly Road but cannot get off at Esslinger Rd.

    On the west side of the wall behind St. Thomas Episcopal Church on the Aldridge Creek Greenway Red Obscene Graffitti. Spoke to the church and they do not intend to deal with it. Red painted onto the stone wall. There is also a 2' high stick face on the wall but the red is offensive.
