The parking lot behind Thayer is a drainage disaster .
  • 2-18 Eames St Town of Framingham, MA, 01702, USA - Framingham
Parking on Eames, Arlington, Washakem, and Pratt has become unmanageable. It is almost impossible to navigate the road to get home or to leave. People are blocking the corners, parking on the wrong side of the road, and blocking driveways. I have called multiple times over the last year on this subject and nothing has been done. Honestly, this is a potential huge revenue stream for parking tickets... but it is also a significant safety issue as people can collide because of blocked views.

One major pot hole at bend in road - but a huge chunk of the road is in disrepair and there are multiple potholes.

The entirety of Pratt Street is a pothole (hint - it needs to be repacked) but the first section is extremely bad.

Someone has dumped a bunch of propane tanks in the Tripp Street swamp area.
  • 70 Arlington St Framingham 01702, United States - Framingham
The corner of Arlington and Pratt is extremely dangerous. The snow has packed into ice and cars can’t stop and slide into Arlington street. Salt is needed to make this intersection safe for drivers.

Pratt Street is in major need of pothole repair. I wish I could say it was just 1... but there are several wash outs that need repair throw out the street.

The frequent use of this park for overnight parties (i.e. alcohol and drug use) leaves this park dangerous for the neighborhood children. Nips, bottles, syringes, and trash litter this park. Over night this park needs to be cleared of the people who use this park in this way. Adding some signage that the park is closed at dusk could give the town some leverage to move people away overnight. More photos in the comments.

Wires hanging down from power lines. Not electrified (currently- but I watched enough GI Joe PSAs as a kid to know not to touch anything). It looks like a cable wire - but it is hanging between 39-41 Pratt Street.

The electric pole at the corner of Gordon and Arlington has been cracked for some time. I have reported it a couple times already. At this point the pole looks like it could come down at all time. Because it is next to one of the few play areas for children on this side of 135, I worry that it will fall and injure someone. I know Framingham doesn't care about this side of town, but maybe the town will do something before a child is injured.

Pratt Street and (Arlington street) are in really rough shape after the storm. Between people plowing into the street and clearing their cars into the street - the road is now a single lane. The Backhoe that was used to clear Pratt did a great job of chipping away the heavy snow - but left huge patches that are difficult to drive through. Please send someone through the streets to clean them during the day when there are not cars parked overnight.

Broken pile at the corner of Arlington and Gordon streets. This pile is already a double pole - but the newer pole is now visibly cracked and separating.
  • 37-39 Pratt Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Someone dumped an old dorm refrigerator one the sidewalk between 37-39 Pratt Street. I has been on the side walk since Wednesday.
  • 22 Irving Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
The Irving Street/Waverly street intersection is a difficult part of the commute every morning. I am certain it will get better as the construction gets completed. However, almost every morning, between 6:30 -7:00 am, vans and delivery vehicles stop and block lanes of traffic at this intersection. It makes driving through this area extremely difficult. I know there used to be a couple places for parking before construction, but the parking spots were removed and vehicles shouldn't be allowed to block lanes of traffic.
  • 11 - 13 Pratt Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
Please enforce trash collection policies for town service houses so trash does not continue to build up on downtown streets. 11-13 Pratt street has left their garbage out since the end of August, but they are a town house, not a privately owned property.
  • 1-7 Herbert Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
The crosswalk button at the corner of Herbert St. and Loring Dr. and Irving St. does not activate the crossing lights. Which means in order to cross the street, pedestrians need to dash across the street and pray. It is not ideal.
  • Gordon And Arlington Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham

There are several issues with this playground. 1. Swings - 1 small child swing is broken and no longer safe and another regular swing is missing entirely. 2. Balance beam - has been torn out/vandalized. 3. The fence was damaged by the excessive winter snow at the corner and has not yet been fixed.

While fixing these issues is a priority - additionally this park has become a refuge for drug/alcohol users during the overnight hours. Many people from the neighborhood take turns cleaning up the broken bottle (and sometimes needles) left on the playground in the morning before children arrive. While this is commendable - it shouldn't be necessary. It would be great to have a law enforcement presence ensure that Gordon/Arlington Street Park stays safe even during the overnight hours

  • South Street Framingham, Massachusetts - Framingham
The intersection of South Street and Arlington Street is dangerous as there is no signage. Most people do not know what to do - some people speed through while others randomly stop. There needs to be some signage in order to organize the intersection.
