The mask situation at Forest River Park is no better today. At 4 PM, about 60 % of the people are sitting and walking without masks - I am not counting those people at the beaches. I am disappointed that the new initiative is not being enforced. The Common was no better and some of the new colorful signs have been taken down (entrance by playground).

I was at the park at 11 AM and 3 PM and a friend visited the park just after 6 PM. We found almost no one wearing a mask all day. I was eager to see if there were signs of enforcement - new signs, patrolling agents - I didn't find either. There needs to be at last one park where seniors, persons with risk factors and anyone who values the health of the community to recreate in safety.

fireworks damage to city picnic table at FR Park, at the SE point behind the rock outcrop. Seems like this would be a good spot to monitor for teens with explosives.

  • Holly St & Linden St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
I agree that neither Holly nor Linden were plowed to the curb. Both are narrow streets with parking issues. Now we will have more parking problems until the snow melts. Please find workers who will plow to the edges of the streets.

  • 7 Holly St Salem Massachusetts - City of Salem

The occupants of 7 Holly St have dumped all sorts of stuff on the Linden St side of of their building. The furniture, TV, mattress, pillows and fandom trash has been there for 3 days.

8/3 It appears that the management of 7 Holly has sent some one with a truck to clean up. The trash and TV are gone and the sidewalk is swept. The furniture and mattes are still there.

  • Salem Common Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
Just opposite Kof C hall, a large tree on the inside of the path around the Common has a very large dead branch hanging directly over the path. Would be a good idea to remove the branch.

Plowing - the plowing needs to be curb to curb. Already I see that about 3 ft on either side is not being plowed. That means that almost 6 ft of the street could be unusable. There is another storm predicted for Tuesday and then the problem will get worse. After last winter, when we lost all parking on this street; I am concerned that we could end up with the same issues. Please instruct the trucks to plow curb to curb. That's why we all moved our cars, so they could do a good job.
  • Barton Square Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
On Barton Sq, in front of the house that needs a paint job. The remaining 4 inches of a sign post is protruding from the sidewalk. Last weekend a friend (81 yr old) tripped over this piece of metal and cut her legs and hands. Luckily she did not break a bone. Please remove this dangerous object.
