  • 1-99 Hoadley Place Hartford, Connecticut - Downtown
The fence with prison type barbed wire on the top is caving onto the side walk. A tall person could cut their forehead on it. This is popular street parking for events at the XL center and represent the city very, very poorly.

  • 1-47 Trumbull Street Hartford, Connecticut - Downtown
When heading north/west on Wells approaching the Trumbull St. intersection the left lane ends due to construction on Jewel and forces a merge. At one time there were cones and traffic barrels, but they are gone. People don't even realize the lane ends and just weave over not knowing they are potentially cutting off traffic.
  • 308-340 Main St Hartford, Connecticut - South Green
These are a great idea...not working in this instance. Bees and flys making it worse.

  • 50-60 Trumbull St Hartford, CT - Downtown
This is pretty much THE pedestrian gateway between the CBD and Bushnell Park. Like other heavily walked intersections in the city, this one needs an "ALL WALK" in the rotation. Instead you get stuck on a median!
I tried emailing Raj Mathur in the Engineering Department regarding this matter directly, but got no response so re opening.

  • Church St Hartford, CT - Downtown
Driving East on Church St. at High St. there are two travel lanes. The signage indicates that the right lane is for right turn only and the left lane is for through traffic and left hand turns. However the new traffic patterns in the West bound direction would create head on collisions if everyone followed signage.
