  • Osborne Hill Drive And Marlborough Road Salem Ma - City of Salem
For the past two afternoons around 4:50-4:55 PM, the inbound traffic on Marlborough Road has been backed up to the Peabody city line. I have noticed in the mornings and afternoons, more so in the mornings, that Osborne Hill Drive or McGrath Park roadways will get a green light, when there are NO vehicles seen exiting either roadway. Could the vehicle detectors on both roadways be malfunctioning?

  • Highland Avenue @ Barnes Road - City of Salem
Manhole cover on Highland Avenue inbound towards Salem (107 N) at Barnes Road becomes loose and makes noises when vehicles drive over it. The cover is stamped SEWER, so it appears to be a City manhole.

These lights need to be placed back on Flashing during peak traffic hours. The traffic is backing up towards Peabody again. Thank you.
  • Marlborough Road And Osborne Hill Drive - City of Salem
Due to snow on Marlborough Road at Osborne Hill Drive, cars are triggering the left turn light for Osborne Hill Drive, causing the inbound (towards Salem) traffic to back up considerably. This afternoon (Wednesday), at this hour, the traffic is backed up all the way to Washington Street in Peabody. The non left-turn lane at that light facing outbound towards Peabody, needs to be cleared of snow. Thank you.
  • Barnes Road At Barnes Avenue - City of Salem
The temporary DO NOT ENTER signs for Barnes Road and Barnes Avenue, need to be larger and/or more visible. I have repeatedly noticed vehicles (and one school bus) violating this directive by exiting Barnes Road at Highland Avenue and by going up Barnes Avenue, when the traffic is directed to go up Barnes Circle and go around to Barnes Avenue. Thank you.
  • Clark Street And Highland Avenue - City of Salem
Mound of snow at corner of Clark Street and Highland Avenue (at Dunkin Donuts) is too high and needs to be knocked down. Cannot see cars coming down Highland Avenue as a result. This needs to be addressed as Barnes Road has been made a temporary one-way street, making Clark Street the only (if temporary) legal exit from this neighborhood. It's an accident waiting to happen. Thank you.
