Not sure if this is the correct "category", but there is a big, wide shrub/bush or small tree whose branches are extending out into the road. The branches literally scratch cars that are driving by (as I can attest to from today's experience). It is on Blue Ridge between Ed Drive and Duraleigh, as you are traveling west towards Duraleigh, on the right. Needs to be trimmed back so that it's not growing into the road.
  • Corporate Center Dr & Trinity Rd Raleigh, NC, 27607, USA - West

Green light traveling north on Corporate Center timing has changed recently (too short). The green light has for some reason changed within the past few days to be much shorter than before. I noticed this at 5:30 PM today, my wife noticed it at 8:30 AM today.

This is especially important since it is a non-standard intersection and straight-ahead shares the lane with left, but there is no left arrow. So left-turners need time for opposing traffic to clear through, but now there is even less time than before for that.

I was 5th in line today, going straight, and it took 3 green lights to finally get through, since 3 left-turners were ahead of me and the green light has now changed to be so brief.

  • 1001-1199 Corporate Center Dr Raleigh, NC, 27607, USA - West
There is garbage all over the road on Corporate Center Dr between Conference and Play Golf. This is over both lanes of travel. It looks like an entire bag of garbage fell into the road and busted.
  • 2842-2868 Blue Ridge Rd Raleigh, NC, 27607, USA - Northwest
Can the left turn arrow from Macon Pond to Blue Ridge be extended a few seconds during afternoon rush hour? I regularly have to sit through two cycles when there aren't even that many cars turning left. Yesterday this was at 4:15 PM and I timed it at 17 seconds of green. Even adding 4 seconds would help tremendously. Starting at around 4 PM there is a lot of traffic turning left onto Blue Ridge from Macon Pond.
  • 3001 Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
At Duraleigh and Blue Ridge, there is quite a lot of debris from a car accident from about 2 weeks ago. For example there is what appears to be the bumper of a car. This never got cleaned up.
  • 125 Ed Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
The stop sign for Edgemont Drive turning onto Ed Drive is now lying on the ground. This is the 2nd, replacement stop sign for the earlier one that was reported down (which is actually still lying on the ground). So now there are 2 pole Stop signs, both lying down on the ground.
  • 1260-1298 Corporate Center Drive Raleigh North Carolina - West
Traveling NE on Corporate Dr crossing Trinity: The way this is set up currently is a Right-turn only lane, and then a second lane that is shared for both Straight-through and Left-turn traffic. I have noticed during rush hours that if there are a couple of cars trying to turn Left onto Trinity, it really backs up the traffic behind them on Corporate Center Dr.
  • 1153-1199 Corporate Center Drive Raleigh North Carolina - West
On the entirety of Corporate Center Drive, from Wake Park Blvd to Chapel Hill Rd (~1.5 miles), there are no speed limit signs. Could some speed limit signs be added along this road? It would be nice to know the safe speed, and also I'd like to avoid getting a speeding ticket. It's a relatively high traffic road now, so I'm sure other drivers would appreciate signs as well.
  • 506 Nowell Road Raleigh, North Carolina - West
Turning off of Hillsborough onto Nowell Rd, there is no street sign indicating the name of Nowell Rd. If I did not have my GPS turned on, I would have had no idea to turn at that road.
There does not seem to be any street sign for Hillsborough also, for those turning off of Nowell onto Hillsborough.
  • 3001-3035 Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Turning right from Blue Ridge onto Duraleigh (coming from the East), the green and yellow lower signals for the 2 right-most lanes are twisted around to the wrong direction so that they are not visible to the intended traffic. You cannot see the right-turn arrow, for example.
  • 2613-3299 Lake Boone Trail Raleigh, North Carolina - Glenwood

Turning left from Ridge Rd onto Lake Boone Trail (towards 440/wycliff/West) is very difficult during rush hour. There is no green left arrow, and oncoming traffic is nearly always flowing. My wife has been stuck at this intersection for 5 light cycles during rush hour before.

Is it possible to do a traffic study during rush hour at this intersection?

  • 3613-3699 Morningside Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
There is a "Raleigh City Limits" sign on Morningside that is obsolete. From what I can tell looking at the Annexation History Map (https://www.raleighnc.gov/business/content/ITechAdmin/Articles/MapGallery.html), this sign was made defunct by an annexation north of Blue Ridge (at Morningside) sometime in the last 3-7 years. So it is no longer applicable; it will only create confusion. I originally reported this in issue 2296147, but that issue was closed with the answer "the sign was removed". As you can see from the attached image, taken 4 days ago on Jan 7 2017, the sign was never removed. The website would not let me comment/reopen the issue since it was archived, so I'm submitting it as a new issue.
  • 2801-7567 Ed Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
The Stop Sign on Ed Drive, traveling north, when you get to Blue Ridge, is upside down. Maybe the top bolt came out or something.
  • 4217 Pleasant Valley Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Ideally a hanging sign from the traffic light plus a sign on a pole would be added to Pleasant Valley Rd heading East as it hits Glenwood. It is not clear that the left lane is straight+left and the right lane is right-turn-only. Especially since on the other side of Glenwood, Pleasant Valley has 2 lanes, which is confusing (it implies the right lane might also be for going straight across Glenwood). The only markings are on the pavement, which are easily hidden by cars and once you are at the light you cannot see them. The road curves as you approach Glenwood, which adds to the confusion. Adding a lane direction pole-sign at the curve so you can see it as you approach, plus hanging from the traffic light, would make this intersection much more clear.
  • 5742-5798 Duraleigh Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Turning left from Delta Lake Dr onto Duraleigh Rd. Red light signal is out. Green is working fine. Did not stay long enough to see Yellow.
  • 3332 Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
There is a small curly wire dangling from the powerline right before Morningside Dr, between the 1st two poles on Blue Ridge. It's hanging down to about 10 feet above the sidewalk so it's not an emergency.
  • 3613-3699 Morningside Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Why is there a "Raleigh City Limits" sign at the beginning of Morningside Dr? This spot is far from any city limits on all maps I've been able to check, including the iMaps on the city website. Even old-timers in the neighborhood have no idea why it's there. It's a very confusing sign to be stuck randomly in the middle of Raleigh! Shouldn't it be removed?
  • 3132-3160 Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
The intersection of Ed Dr and Blue Ridge Rd is dangerous and needs a traffic signal or at least a 4-way stop sign set up. There is a lot of traffic on both roads, and Blue Ridge curves to the east of the intersection so that you cannot see approaching cars. The traffic is much heavier than when the intersection was built, else surely they would have set up a signal or 4-way-stop. Please have a consultant check this intersection especially during rush hour. It's an accident waiting to happen.
  • Sign Down Archived
3937-3949 Ed Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Someone seems to have pulled out all the pole-mounted signs on this road. They were all pulled out yesterday. Today some have been put back in, but not completely (leaning), and some are still down. Signs include the Hemlock Forest sign (still down), "No Parking" signs, and "Clean Up After Your Dog" signs.
  • 3512-3548 Morningside Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
The streetlight is flashing on and off very fast (every half-second). It was doing it last night as well as tonight.
