There is a Blue jay nesting in a pine tree in front of 514 Chestnut Street. The issue is that it keeps attacking people as they walk by. My neighbor was attacked twice yesterday. I was attacked yesterday and the day before. Can anything be done about this?

FYI - I believe there is no stop sign at the intersection of King Street and Forrest Ave. - this is right across the street from the high school.

Can we please do something about the parents double parking at the new charter school located at Midland Ave. & Chestnut St. when letting their children out. I almost took off a car door this morning and the driver thought nothing about is.
    Thank You

Yesterday, Thursday 7/14, while checking my plants after the storm, I noticed that a tree had fallen from the backyard of 96 Beech Street and was hanging over the fences of 511 and 515 Chestnut. I went to inform the owner of the issue but received no response to my door bell ringing. While there, I noticed 6 cats/kittens hanging out in the driveway with food at their disposal. The TNR seems not to be working. I am person that likes to follow the "chain of command" but we seem to have a weak link. I know that the town is in a choice vacation period but there has to be someone on staff to handle this issue. My next response will be a personal letter to the mayor of Kearny.

You started a TNR at 96 Beech Street. How is it going? Because one of the feral cats, that you didn't catch had KITTENS. You ask, how do I know this? Found 3 of them sunning on my deck Sunday morning. Is there any way to contact a supervisor as this TNR you claim to be doing is not working.

Reported a feral cat issue at 96 Beech Street. It was determined that a cat community existed and TNR would be instituted. As of this report, I still see a few cats and some kittens. Are we still doing TNR?

Congratulations to the residents in the middle of Chestnut Street and Beech Street, between Oakwood Avenue and Midland Avenue. You are now a proud group of people that have kittens in their yards. Yes Kittens, that reside under the gazebo at 96 Beech Street. I would like to know if I could get a sunning permit and a rental permit when they reside in my yard until I vacate them to 96 Beech Street. Any help would be helpful.

    Thank You

Looking at the house at 96 Beech St. and it's outside property, I'm surprise it's not condemned. The main issue is that there are at least 9 different feral cats hanging out there. During the day, they hang out in the yards of 511 & 515 Chestnut Street. The reason being both yards have full sun all day. They mostly hang out at 511 because the yard is all grass. There is also a storage shed at 511 that they go under. I am starting to see a lot of flying bugs and am wondering if there are dead ones there also. The big issue is 96 Beech Street.
