  • 7 Farrell Street South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
The City recently paved Swift Street but somehow left out paving the right hand turn section of pavement coming off of Farrell on to Swift. This is dumbfounding how the City did not finish the job and properly fix this section of roadway. The equipment and crew were down there to do it, now it'll cost extra money to send the crew back out there this spring to fix the job they were supposed to have finished the first time. Please fix this section of pavement.
  • 45 Myers Court South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
Myers Court is in terrible condition. This road should have been paved years ago and yet somehow doesn't appear on the five year paving plan. I can only assume that the road will be paved this year as it will be undrivable after a couple more winters.
  • 221 North Winooski Avenue Burlington, VT - Burlington Electric
Some stop signs have recently been erected on North Winooski Avenue that do not serve a purpose except for wasting fuel and time and brakes. This is a one way street at the intersection where the stop signs are with no cars able to pull out except to take a right (south) onto North Winooski. In our current climate of protecting the environment and saving fuel along with rising fuel costs, we should be trying to make our streets more efficient rather than wasteful. Please remove these signs as soon as possible. Thank you.
  • 60 Grove Street Burlington, VT - Burlington Electric
The speed bumps at this end of grove street are completely unnecessary and are a waste of time, brakes and fuel. The speed limit is already 25 mph which is plenty slow. The speed bumps are damaging to vehicles suspensions over continual use and waste fuel as drivers must drive 25 mph, slow over the bumps then reaccelerate back to 25 mph. In the end the speed bumps do not accomplish anything except accelerate the deterioration of our vehicles and waste fuel and time. Thank you.
  • 801-857 Main Street South Burlington, VT - Burlington Electric
Crossing the Jug-Handle is just awful. The pavement on main street is extremely deteriorated. The wheel ruts have large chunks of pavement missing and crossing main street is not only very damaging to a vehicle, but also dangerous. Imagine someone on a motorcycle or even a bicycle crossing this intersection at night. I can't believe the city didn't get with Burlington this summer and pave another +-20 feet of roadway to rectify this dangerous and completely preventable situation.

65 Patchen Road South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
Patchen road in it's entirety (from hinesburg road to grove street) lives up to it's name. It is a collection of poor patch jobs and is in dire need of complete repair. This is the roadway that all of the city vehicles drive on and accumulate massive amounts of wear. This costs the tax payers money.
  • 20-24 Gregory Drive South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
Some stop signs were erected at the intersection of Community Drive and Kimball Ave. These signs are completely unnecessary and greatly hinder traffic flow. The city should remove these and put the intersection back the way it was.
  • 742-816 Kimball Avenue South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
Kimball Ave. in it's entirety is in very poor condition. It is quite damaging to vehicles. Our police cars must traverse this roadway constantly (sometimes at high rates of speed) and it is very dangerous; especially during slick conditions. This needs to be addressed quickly for the safety of our police officers.
  • 1523-1575 Dorset Street South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
There are some dips in the pavement from trench work that need addressing. My car has bottomed out and scraped it's nose hitting the northern dips at only 35 mph. These need to be rectified immediately as they are hazardous to both cars and bikers.
  • 1 Kennedy Drive South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
The intersection of Kennedy Drive and Dorset is in deplorable condition. This Dorset Street from this intersection all the way south to the city line needs paving. This intersection is extremely damaging to vehicles and should be addressed immediately considering the amount of traffic it sees on a daily basis.
  • Poor Roadway Archived
248 White Street South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
White street in it's entirety is a chewed up roadway that should have been paved a couple years ago. It is damaging to drive on and we have an elementary school that children attend and buses, parents, and teachers drive to every day. This road dangerous to bike on and is in need of a complete repair.
  • 1435 Spear Street South Burlington, VT - South Burlington
The section of roadway from swift street intersection to the allen road intersection is abysmal. It is damaging to vehicles and dangerous to drive on. It is extremely dangerous to bike on as the northbound edge of the road way is completely destroyed in spots.
