    There is giant poison ivy taking reaching over onto the sidewalk along Brookside Drive.

    Every day, when the traffic signal on Tryon turns red, several cars run the light and the people on Avent Ferry (who have the green light) have to wait before entering the intersection to avoid being killed. The drivers running the light are usually driving very fast and if there was to be an accident it would likely be severe.

    I am at this intersection at least twice daily and every single time there's at least one driver (sometimes as many as three or four) on Tryon running the light. I'm certain it's a constant problem. Red light cameras might help to target the drivers running the light and to encourage people to stop. I'm sure having actual police at the intersection periodically would help as well.
