  • 562 Sharon Dr Memphis, TN, 38122, USA - East Memphis-Colonial-Yorkshire
Front yard of house is completely filled with junk and garbage. Appears to be a hoarding situation. Situation attracts rats.
  • 2216 Nelson Ave Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - Midtown
Nelson ave from cooper to parkway is a high risk zone. A thru street with no speed bumps or stop signs. Evelyn, the exact same street running parallel and north to nelson has stop signs and speed bumps. The intersection of Nelson at Cox is not a 4 way stop like most in the area which causes more confusion for drivers coming down cox. Living on Nelson, I see a crash at least once a month and speeding everyday. There is multiple families with kids on this street and a very populated walking area. Lets learn from our mistakes and create a safer street for the future.
  • 4330 Macon Rd Memphis, TN 38122, USA - Berclair-Highland Heights
This IS NOT a yard sale. This has gotten progressively worse for the past 6 months. And typical of Memphis in Berclair, nothing is done. This is not a commercial property but these people are running a junk yard in the front yard. This has drawn rodents (visible by neighbors) and now indigent people are using it for a place to camp and do drugs. It's unsafe to walk by at night. The owner should be hauled into environmental court and sued for public nuisance. This used to be a nice house and now Berclair is being destroyed by the refusal of the city to enforce codes already on the books. This is also decimating the tax base of the city. DO SOMETHING PLEASE!

Poplar Ave & N Mcneil St Memphis, Tennessee, 38104 - Midtown
Someone is operating a junk yard business out of a residential property. This should not be allowed. Savory characters on the property purchasing junk all hours of the night with extra lighting, extra junk and trash thrown all over the grass and alley way. Why wouldn't the police stop at this location when clearly this residence is not a commercial business and is clearly violating zoning laws of a residential neighborhood. This sort of activity needs to cease and desist and the violators need to be cited and fined. Not only are they are operating a business without a license; the foot traffic, bright lights and noise are all violating the peace and sanctity of the surrounding residents. This is clearly a public disturbance and as a resident who lives nearby I am asking along with many other neighbors for the City of Memphis to do something about this blatant disregard the of law.

2009 Peabody Ave Memphis 38104, United States - Midtown
This construction is being completed without an authorized building permit. They are digging without a permit or calling 811. Today, the construction workers were digging and hit a power line causing a large disruption of power to the neighborhood. This is dangerous, unauthorized, and needs to be brought into compliance.
  • 2133 Lamar Ave Memphis, TN, 38114, USA - Midtown
I have stated many times that this is a very dangerous intersection. I've seen 18 wheelers, trucks, and cars run this light daily due to the middle signal lights stay green. But the city has continue to close this complaint. Someone will lose their life at this intersection. And I will make sure that the family members are aware of this complaint.
  • 633 S Cleveland St Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - Midtown
What is going on with this place? It’s been a problem for too long. There is trash everywhere including needles, broken glass and urine bottles. There are people drinking and shooting up in plain sight. The front door is wide open. Can’t the owner board up the windows and doors to make it more secure? Does anyone even own this place? The graffiti has been covered but not in a matching color. Has this place been investigated for arson? Seriously. What will be done? Can’t we progress to a better Memphis?
  • 93 N Rembert St Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - Midtown
Neglected abandoned house. Owner will not repair or rent house choosing to pay measly taxes on it in order to keep in their possession. Every other house on street is in good condition. Squatters come here and it needs to be condemned
  • 3300 Central Ave Memphis, TN, 38111, USA - East Memphis-Colonial-Yorkshire
With no previous warning, MLG&W showed up 10/26 to repair gas leak reported by the man across the street. As I left for work, I was assured by the worker my gas would be back on when I got home. After many calls on Monday night and all day Tuesday, my gas is still not on. Finally got put on "the list". Waited yesterday from 4 p.m. to midnight. No show. I understand that they're busy. But c'mon,. At least come when a person has appointment! Especially since I'm a 77 yr. old, sitting up until midnight and feel this is unacceptable. No hot water or heat for 3 days? My only recourse was to reach out to your office to intercede for me.

Would like gate and/or speed bumps to keep dangerous people (crime) out of our street.

Autozone is accross from Sandridge St. and in the last year or so, a growing number of cars and people occupy their parking lot every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights as a race track. When police officers come in to stop them, they us our street to evade police.

2 other business have added to the traffic and trash. Ever since a real estate business started operating in our street their renters, contracting groups, and employees drive up and down our street. The other that just became another challenge in an extremely successful Wendy's which just opened this year. Their success has brought in lots of trash to Sandridge street and some of their unsavory people roaming our up and down our street. We had to call police in various times because some use the end od the street to park and use drugs. These challenges bring many safety concerns to our neighbors and us.

We hope that you can help us aliviate our concerns by adding safety measures that will protect our home from these business customers. We would like the city to closed off the street from the traffic these business bring into our residential area or at least put multiple speed bumps to deter incoming traffic from coming into our residential area.
