The lights facing Umstead and Hillsborough are desynchronized and will display green for one side and red on the other confusing left turning traffic as they wait to yield for traffic that doesn’t come.

The light sequence is all messed up for people taking a left off of Hillsborough or a left off of Umstead The lights should have arrows to alert people turning left that they have the right of way As it is, no one knows what to do and its a mess

As you can see, parked cars block sight lines of drivers at stop sign at North St/Henderson St intersction. This is an extremely dangerous intersection. Two parking spaces nearest the intersection need to be removed to provide safe visibility. Cars and scooters approach on Henderson at high speeds and cut the corner. They are often impossible to see due to parked cars.

Please install a flashing light and cautionary signage at our crosswalk. School children crossing Piney Mountain Road in the dark morning hours are at risk by drivers who exceed the new lower posted speed limit.

Bike path blocked with dangerous items that could cause trip and fall hazards after dark.

There is large, long-term construction project happening on N. Estes Drive in the walk zone for 2 public schools. The cones & orange netting that attempt to provide a safe walkway for kids and parents are not being maintained by the construction crew. These cones and netting need to be kept in place as some attempt to provide for safe passage of kids entering Estes Hills Elementary School. The traffic light at Estes/Caswell is the particular location. There is no longer any barrier between opposing traffic on Caswell waiting to turn left onto N. Estes Drive. I myself and other neighbors have been attempting to maintain this area but that is not reasonable or appropriate for a parent with a young child while already dodging confused traffic.

I was almost side swiped and hit by a turning semi trailer turning right onto pittsboro street while I was biking straight on Cameron Avenue An LPI signal change is needed to prevent this conflict situation the future ..

This photo was taken this morning, after the Sanitation Dept. workers came through the area. Note the trash left on the street, which is the apparently the same trash left there last week. The landlord of 319 McCauley as let this kind of problem fester for years now. It's time that ample trash bins are provided their tenants, as well as locations to store the bins after they have been emptied.

McCauley, the whole length, has a ton of leaves piled on both sides of the road in parts. Needs leaf or street sweeping whatever can remove leaf piles.
