Boat Ramp Issue ArchivedWar Veterans Memorial Park Bay Pines, FL, 33708, USA - Bay Pines
Cars are parking in Truck/Trailer parking spots diminishing the ability for those launching at the ramp to have room to park. Unfortunately, the adequately posted signage is being avoided and not enforced.
These cars are overtaking this boat ramp due to the influx of charters using the launch pad as a waiting station for clients. Thus, congesting an already busy boat ramp. I believe this problem has come to a point where personnel present to direct and enforce loitering is necessary. This arose when the docks located at the Publix/McDonalds on Tom Stuart causeway were closed and removed.

Charter businesses using the ramp and docks has created an influx of cars parking in dedicated truck/trailer parking spots. Making the facilities unusable for the boating community due to no parking for truck/trailer rigs.
No enforcement of posted parking signage for truck/trailer spots being used by cars only.

Boat Ramp Issue Archived9300 Bay Pines Blvd Saint Petersburg FL 33708, United States - Bay PinesThe grooves within the concrete used for keeping vehicular traffic from slipping into the water while loading/unloading boats from the trailer are worn away completely. Without those grooves a vehicle can slide into the water. This will be a costly repair but much needed and paid for by boat ramp parking fees.
