Pothole ArchivedCoventry Rd & N Parkwood Rd Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - DecaturThis has been an ongoing problem for YEARS. Dekalb County resurfaced the street up to this point and Decatur has failed to fix this strip properly. I know of one bicycle accident caused by this … a child went over his handlebars and THANKFULLY landed in the adjoining yard. Someone is going to get hurt here (again). Please fix this properly.

Animal Complaints Archived508 Drexel Ave Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - Decatur508 Drexel Avenue has a major barking problem. Several times a day starting at daybreak, the owners let out multiple large dogs and they go crazy. It's unbelievably loud. It goes on for several minutes and then quiet. A while later, same thing. My wife works from home and it's making her crazy. We've been living in our house for nearly twenty years. I can't even hang out on my deck anymore without their German Shepards barking like the guard dogs in Stalag 17. One of our other neighbors talked to the dog owners about the noise. She was dismissed and nothing got better. The owners don't understand or care that they're disturbing the neighborhood at all hours. If they can't remember that other people live next door, they should be reminded with a fine. We're sick of these dogs blasting us out of bed daily. Enough already.

Pavement Problem Acknowledged1782-1788 Old Spring House Ln Dunwoody, GA, 30338, USA - DunwoodyThe north side of the Old Springhouse Lane between Chamblee Dunwoody Rd and Rochelle Drive has been repaved by a contractor so badly that one cannot drive a bicycle, scooter, or car on it without the threat of crashing. The sidewalk is also uneven and sloppily repaired after heavy equipment crushed it. The surface and the sidewalk need repairing to make smooth, safe travel possible. It is a safety hazard to anyone who uses it. This is a roadway safety issue, a pavement problem, and a sidewalk safety problem. It is also a terrible looking entrance to our neighborhood.

Sidewalks Archived1116 E Ponce De Leon Ave Decatur, GA, 30030, USA - North DecaturThere is no pedestrian access to this new grocery store (Publix) during construction of the adjacent apartments. Both Ponce and Dekalb Industrial have entirely too many lanes for vehicles, given traffic volumes... Surely we could take one car traffic lane adjacent to the new construction on both streets to allow for the THOUSANDS of renters and homeowners nearby to WALK to the grocery store that should be a safe, 5 minute walk from Avondale MARTA rail station. The City of Decatur annexed this land to make this development possible... but who is being prioritized here? Not those residents of Decatur who want to or NEED to walk / not drive a block to the grocery store. Please advise as to the thoughts/efforts the City is considering to address this completely unnecessary lack of pedestrian access to a vital community asset. It's only a matter of time before a pedestrian trying to make it to Publix is hit and killed by a car speeding downhill on Ponce.

Street Parking Issues Archived103 N Fourth Ave Decatur GA 30030, United States - DecaturThis white truck never leaves this spot Parking in this spot makes it extremely difficult to see oncoming traffic from N 4th Ave on Oakview Rd There needs to be a no parking sign before the crosswalk so pedestrians can be seen at the crosswalk and cars can see oncoming traffic on Oakview Rd Cars cannot see pedestrians at the start of the crosswalk and thus do not stop It is extremely dangerous
