Notified About

  • 3070 Richmond Blvd Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - Oakland Ave-Harrison St
This past Sunday night massive rains made a tree fall on Richmond Blvd. requiring PGE to come out for a downed power line. Three PGE support utility trucks drove into the green space across from 3070 Richmond Blvd. Not sure why. All three got stuck in the mud and finally freed themselves after turning the park area into a monster truck rally and digging large craters and rows of earth and mud with their tires. The park is now currently unusable for recreation.
  • Marina Cove Waterfront Park Clement Ave, Alameda, CA 94501, USA - Alameda
This intersection really needs to be a 3 way stop following the opening of Clement behind the Del Monte. I've seen many cars speed through here without concern that many pedestrians with dogs and children cross to use the playground and parklet. There is no stop between Entrance and Ohlone so cars speed up, and there is a crosswalk here. As an added note, the road markings were worn away from the Del Monte project's construction trucks and need to be repainted (this might be applicable to other parts of the neighborhood as well).
  • 1324 Adeline St Oakland, California, 94607 - Oak Center
The intersection of 14th and Adeline streets is the location of multiple traffic collisions per month. Drivers routinely run red lights in all four directions, most typically on 14th St. Just today, a pickup truck t-boned an SUV carrying a family of three, then drove off towards the highway (on the wrong side of the road, no less). The family luckily suffered minor injuries, but their car was absolutely totaled. Aside from running red lights, drivers typically go way over the speed limit in this general area. What's more, the pedestrian signal crossing 14th St. is not in the "walk" position long enough to completely cross the street, unless someone is running. In a neighborhood with many very young, elderly, and disabled residents, this creates a multi-layered, dangerous situation. Some form of traffic calming is IMPERATIVE, and a review of the traffic signal timing would be well-advised.

1800 Wood St Oakland CA 94607, United States - Prescott Oakland Point
These guys are connecting to electrical poles, running extension cords on the street, getting Free electricity, which by the way is a fire hazard! Also they're using park irrigation system to fill this big blue canister. This is mind blowing. While we sit here paying all these bills SMH

More and more trucks are coming to the area. As we can see, these two have been going back and forth with tools and other items to set up camp. Notably, there is a sign below indicating that it's not allowed.
  • 5741 Thornhill Dr Oakland, California, 94611 - Merriwood
There is no pedestrian access at the 7-11 along Thornhill; the parking lot is 120 feet across with 11 parking spaces, and often there are 18-wheel delivery trucks unloading supplies during school hours. Pedestrians are forced to navigate across many lanes of moving traffic to get by or cross next to the 7-11 entrance, which involves several steps and barriers. We request that the City of Oakland investigate options to reduce the width of this parking lot and improve pedestrian access with additional sidewalks.
  • Frontage Rd Oakland CA 94607, United States - Prescott Oakland Point
All of the street lights on Frontage Road have been out for over a week. Our neighbor's backside of their home was burglarized during this past weekend as it's pitch black after sunset. Please fix the lights. They seems to stop working after there was a fire (fire trucks came out) or an incident last week on Frontage Road and the land under the freeway.
  • 266 40th Street Way Oakland, California, 94611 - Piedmont Avenue
This by far is the most dangerous & crumbled street in all of Oakland. In the 7+ years of living in different areas, I have never encountered a worse street than this one. Big wheel truck vehicles drive down this tiny side street all throughout the day just deuterating what little street we have left. I cannot even ride a bike down this street and have to walk it down every day because of learning the hard way and injuring myself trying to bike it. The rain season has exacerbated the potholes to a level that feels like off-roading terrain, where if you're not in a lifted vehicles your car is being damage with each drive down the street. Please can someone help the residents of this street?!

In front of my house, there are many tents, as can be seen in the image. This situation has been getting worse and worse. We can see an increasing number of people and tents. There are trucks assisting with wood to set up more camps. On top of that, we are seeing fires, naked people, etc.

A semi-trailer truck just stopped by to deliver these new homeless on the block some wooden pallets to start building a new encampment right across the street from my house.
