  • Alabama Waldorf School - Birmingham
    The Alabama Waldorf School is located directly off of Crestwood Blvd. There are several issues with this area at the entrance that cause major safety concerns. The speed limit of 40mph and no dedicated turn lane for entering and exiting the school has caused several accidents for parents with their kids. Additionally, to turn left out of the school, cars have to cross 2 lanes of traffic to reach the median. A traffic signal in addition to a dedicated right turn lane into the school would provide a safer environment for the school.

    Speeding on Goldwire St. SW from 17th Ave SW to Green Springs Ave. This has been an ongoing issue for the past 10 years. The issue has been called in to the Birmingham Police Department and has been brought up at numerous Neighborhood Association meetings. Nothing has been done.

    It's as if no one from the city ever drives on Highland Ave westbound approaching 23rd Street South. I drive it every day going to work. The road there has been a mashup of bad patches and potholes for years and need to be dug up and resurfaced.
