1 To 80 Mott St New York, NY 10013, USA - Lower East SideMANYcars with parking permits have parked ILLEGALLY for years, Mon-Fri, at the same metered locations on lower Mott Street using a Court Officer and NYPD and Corrections parking permits. That's not a typo - this illegal parking has gone on for YEARS!!! Aside from the blight, NYC loses more than $50-million a year in parking meter revenue from government employee commuters abusing their parking permits - That's about a 1/2-BILLION dollars lost since Bloomberg's been in office. NYPD Traffic Enforcement (212) 233-0878) was contacted and the cars have been documented - please note this is EVERY working day. 'Can't run a city or a business like that. Councilmember Margaret Chin has walked by illegally parked cars all the time in Chinatown but she's more concerned right now with a double tax, the Business Improvement District and also getting tourists arrested for scoring knock-offs on Canal Street.

Scaffold permit long expired Archived71 Broadway New York, NY 10006 - Financial DistrictThe scaffolding that was installed at this location for regular building maintenance needs to be dismantled and removed. The permit expired in December of 2007 and the work has long ago been completed, but still the scaffolding remains standing. It is an eyesore next to the historic Trinity Church and is hurting business within the building.

487 Broadway New York, NY - SohoEvery single day there is chaos on Broome St. as traffic from the closed Hudson St. Holland Tunnel entry is diverted. The din of the honking alone makes life difficult for the hundreds of people who live and work here. One traffic cop at the intersection of Broadway would go a long way towards fixing this problem.

Broome Street NYC, NY - Lower East SideRed light, see it? there they are blocking the grid and so the drivers honk and HONK and HOOOONNNNNNKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!

423 Broome Street Manhattan, New York, NY - SohoFor the whole two miles east from the Holland Tunnel all the way past Chrystie Street, traffic is three cars wide and the drivers block each grid throughout weekends, and THEY HONK CONTINUOUSLY.
Rarely traffic cops are assigned to direct the flow, though cops are sometimes observing cell phone use of drivers, they usually stay in the shade in a group of 4, or inside their cars parked on the sidestreet. The honking noise is horrible. There are DOT signs posted that there is a '$350 FINE FOR HONKING' , at Broadway and Broome, and two 'NO HONKING SIGNS" up Lafayette and Prince near the Fire Department, and why is a 'NO HONKING $350 FINE' sign posted on Thompson Street (West of West Broadway) a one-lane North-South street?! WHY don't they enforce the no honking and get those good fines? -
