Speed Hump Request Archived2254 Madison Ave Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - MidtownBetween East Parkway and Overton Square, cars treat Madison Avenue like a drag racing street. There are children riding bicycles and pedestrians walking who are at risk. The roaring mufflers rolling through here in the early AM hours could wake the dead. New Years eve a car was driving so fast they went straight through East Parkway and into a persons home. For the safety and peace of the people and homes along this street, there needs to be a way to slow down the traffic driving through.

Speed Hump Request Acknowledged394 N Mcneil St Memphis, TN 38112, USA - Midtownthere have been multiple accidents at the intersection of McNeil and Overton Park over the past year, and more in the previous several years. 8n the 6-7 years we have lived here there has been approximately 6 I can recall. drivers speed down Overton Park St all the time, and people run the stop sign at the intersection of McNeil and Overton park. speed bumps would slow down the traffic on Overton park giving drivers time to react. this current incident could have killed my 2 year old daughter as the telephone pole that flew into my driveway landed where my wife parks and loads my daughter up for preschool. we are afraid to let her be in the front of the house.

Speed Hump Request Archived2260 Madison Ave Memphis, Tennessee, 38104 - MidtownFor years - all hours of the day and night, seven days a week, we have experienced fast and reckless driving as well as racing. We believe this is due to the straight wide part of Madison between Cooper and East Parkway. There have been multiple wrecks including: a death, two separate house fences being hit, a neighbor's car being totaled while parked on the street, and me personally witnessing a pedestrian being hit. It it loud, irritating, scary, and makes pulling in and out of our driveway a dangerous sport. It is just a matter of time before someone drives through a house or seriously hurts or kills one of our pets or family members (and we do have children on this street).

Substandard,Derelict Struc(Residential Property) Acknowledged1 E Parkway N Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - MidtownThis home has been left to sit for at least the past 6 months but potentially longer. You can tell people are using it - but probably not the owners. Doors and windows are shattered. The property grounds are very overgrown. We believe it is in probate court but that doesn't allow the owners to just let it go to ruin.

1638 Faxon Ave Memphis TN 38112, United States - MidtownThe place is overgrown front and back. The fence has fallen into the alley. I can't believe it hasn't punctured someone's tire.

Illegal Dumping Acknowledged213 N Watkins St Memphis, TN, 38104, USA - Midtown
So the abandoned house gets reports written on it for months to have the city address the corporate landlord’s negligence. Nothing happens.
Then the house catches on fire and the charred remains are left behind for more than a year. Dozens of reports. Finally the house is cleared out.
Now we are at the point where we have an active illegal dump right next door to the neighborhood grocery.
When can we have a respectable neighbor? Can this land be provided to those that will actively tend to it?
