The lawn was mowed at the park and it was so long there are now piles of cut grass. Makes almost all of the park look terrible, not to mention how do kids play on the field with this mess? A simple mowing over the piles of grass would further mulch this. But the gas’s cutter just leaves it this way. This happens every year and it’s disappointing that we pay so much in taxes and can’t keep the park functioning as intended.

Weeds and shrubs growing along street and over bridge over Creek...this has been reported earlier and nothing has been done. South Main just north of Oakbrook intersection.

Light is flashing and some bulbs are burnt out

I am the parent of a child who plays on a rec and ed soccer team and co-coach of the team. The team practices on Tuesdays at 6 at Lansdowne Park. They have had 3 practices so far and each practice has been problematic due to the length of the grass. I’m addition to it being very difficult for them to play soccer it has also posed a safety issue. Twice the grass has been unmowed and it’s so long the kids trip and fall a lot more. They are losing their water bottles in the grass and then accidentally falling over them because they cannot see them. Once the grass was mowed but it had been so long before the cut and the clippings (which were very thick and wet) weren’t bailed so a couple kids had allergic reactions and one had to go home early. Please regularly mow this field and if there are huge piles of clippings please bail them as well.

Clumps of cut grass make the park green space unusable for soccer and other activities

I have two children who have soccer practice at Landsdowne Park, but they cannot practice because of the length of the grass. I was told that the parks would be mowed every two weeks. Not only did that not happen yesterday, but two weeks is too long for this park. It is sunken in in a way that causes the retention of water and the grass grows very quickly there. Please change the policy and mow it once a week. The children deserve a place to play. The department of Rec and Ed placed us at this location for practice. Please ensure that the facilities are usable.

A business has placed numerous yard signs in the right of way advertising their business "College Hunks Hauling Junk," including near my house. I've seen these signs in similar places around the city. This appears to violate the Sign Ordinance by placing signs in the right-of-way. The same thing happened last year. Is there some action that the City can take against this business to stop this?

The sidewalks on the pedestrian crosswalk islands at the Seventh/Scio Church intersection haven't been cleared at all of snow or ice (at all this winter as far as I can tell and are now very icy). I think this is a city responsibility? The islands are for the crosswalk across Seventh at the beginning of the Landsdowne neighborhood, and the island for the crosswalk that leads to the Scio church cross walk.

Please mow the lawn! Its ridiculous. Over a foot tall and even when mowed you will need to bale it because the clippings will make it unplayable. Im so mad and disappointed in ann arbor and their love of ticks!

HIRE SOMEONE to mow the lawn every week. Its a constant problem. ENCOURAGE KIDS TO PLAY OUTSIDE AND MAKE FRIENDS!
