    Exceptional vehicle exhaust noise in the evening hours with cars and trucks running open pipe exhaust systems. Mostly from afternoon high traffic mark until 10 p.m. We thought Huntsville had a noice ordinance, but when we contact HPD they indicate the law is unenforceable as written and they are not attempting to pursue violators until a better law is written.

    The shoulder for cyclists on Cecil Ashburn in both directions is unusable for cyclists. There is far too much sand and salt for cyclists to use the should safely and thus they must use the right most travel lane. Please do NOT respond that this road is on a schedule to be swept. This shoulder is used by many cyclists and needs to be swept NOW for the safety of cyclists and cars.

    There are street humps just past my driveway which really would be more beneficial if they were actually in the curve. People speed around the curve making it extremely dangerous. I help my elderly neighbor across the street by bringing her trash and recycling cans up for her and have nearly been hit multiple times because of the decreased visibility around the curve. I feel that if the speed humps were moved back to maybe the curve or even the utility pole there, people may reduce their speed in the curve more. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
